Today every organization is well-aware that many mainframe specialists are nearing dead. The mainframe alive, it's actually thriving in today's cloud-based and mobile computing environments. The new generation of IT specialists have been continually retooled mainframe , for security reliability, concerns presented new technologies, adding low-cost microprocessors for faster-better-cheaper computing power and a modernized Graphical User Interface (GUI) in a timely fashion, improvements in price/performance. This paper review Mainframes exposes related challenges extremely high throughput, scalability, system architectures have been steadily optimized to handle multiple transactions, technologies continue to evolve and improve and modernized management products.

In present day to day, content is shifting paradigm towards more interactive media, mainly video.... more In present day to day, content is shifting paradigm towards more interactive media, mainly video. Availability of various multimedia formats, and devices in mobile, IPTV also demands for specific requirements on content delivery networks, laying importance on cost effectiveness of feeding content to ever growing global internet traffic. In this paper we discuss various methods of enhancing the cost efficiency, through use of adaptive video streaming and proper orchestration of storage, bandwidth and computing resources. Main objective is to formulate an optimization problem from the parametric inputs, such as transcoding cost, resource allocation (caching, bandwidth) and scalability. In particular, we define an enhancement problem, by analyzing a three-path exchange off between the storing, transcoding, and transmission capacity cost, at every edge server. At that point, we receive a two-stage way to deal with diagnostically inference of the arrangement i.e the ideal transcoding set...
