The effective utilization of relevant social media tools, which was once considered the domain of business organizations only, is gradually shifting to various kinds of organizations functioning in society, and educational institutions are no exception. The current study aims at finding out the best practices followed by the top higher education institutions in GCC region, focusing on how they are tapping the vast potential of their online presence, specifically in social media. The researchers take into consideration the different kinds of social media used and the nature of content shared by the selected higher education institutions to gain interesting insights through comparative analysis in order to discover the critical success factors for the desired objectives. This chapter has an implication on all the HEIs in the GCC, education consultancies, digital marketers, ...

This study aims to emphasize the importance of work-life balance and to examine the relationship between work-life balance and happiness. Focusing on physical activities and workplace health among the various ways for employee health is one way to ensure employee health and productivity. Managing long working hours in personal life increases employee stress. It consists of various fields related to the IT industry, computer, and digital information. IT professionals are the most in-demand members of today's labor market, as the industry's largest companies fight to expand the adoption of digital technologies. Employers are continually striving to ensure that their employees do their jobs in the best possible way without getting tired. Employee Work-Life Balance is measured by the employee's mental and physical investment in the workplace. You are dedicated to your work in terms of time, energy, and level of motivation to work towards achieving organizational success. This paper purposes to measure happiness and employee work-life balance as a measure of physical activity. Smart-PLS 3.2.8 creates a conceptual reflex model using measures of physical activity and happiness and work-life balance as survey components.

Considering the intermittent natural energy resources and the seasonal un-balance, a phtovoltaic-... more Considering the intermittent natural energy resources and the seasonal un-balance, a phtovoltaic-wind hybrid electrical power supply system was developed to accommodate remote locations where a conventional grid connection is inconvenient or expensive. However, the hybrid system can also be applied with grid connection and owners are allowed to sell excessive power back to the electric utility. The proposed set-up consists of a photo-voltaic solar-cell array, a mast mounted wind generator, lead-acid storage batteries, an inverter unit to convert DC to AC, electrical lighting loads, electrical heating loads, several fuse and junction boxes and associated wiring, and test instruments for measuring voltages, currents, power factors, and harmonic contamination data throughout the system. The proposed hybrid solar-wind power generating system can be extensively used to illustrate electrical concepts in hands-on laboratories and also for demonstrations in the Industrial Technology curricu...

First is how to find new people and second is how to retain the present workforce. A lot has been written about the acquiring and retention strategies of talent. In case, all strategies fail to retain the talent, an unsought dimension of talent management, i.e. talent transition or exit management evolves. The increased acceptance of modern concepts and practices of talent management has made it necessary to give attention to this aspect of talent management also.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANETs), transmits the real time congestion information to the vehicles from a centralized database to avoid unexpected congestion and follow the shortest path to the destination. In this paper a proposed prototype which can be modified to work for the requirement with different models, such as general traffic prediction and re-routing during emergencies in case of fire, accidents etc. along the route is worked out. IEEE 802.11p which has been introduced exclusively for vehicular environments has been implemented at the Physical and Medium Access Control(MAC) layers of the WAVE protocol stack which was considered for a metropolitan city over an unpredictable high density of vehicles. Evaluation of the performance of IEEE 802.11p, Wireless Access for Vehicular Environment (WAVE) communication standard against IEEE802.11a for the vehicular environment for multiple scenarios has been simulated and the results are encouraging.

The main aim of this article is to orient researchers in creating a theoretical framework and to guide researchers who are new in social entrepreneurship research so that they know which journals and authors to consult when studying this phenomenon. To do so, this study uses the Web of Science database to determine the research areas with the greatest research output, the countries and languages responsible for most social entrepreneurship research, the year in which research on social entrepreneurship began, the journals that publish most research, and the most relevant authors with publications on social entrepreneurship.
