The feeding potential increased consequently from 1, 2, 3, and 4 instar by consuming an average number of 38.64±0.13, 55.57±0.78, 65.42±0.78 and 75.86±0.55 aphids/day respectively. Maximum number of aphids was consumed by adult of 92.20±1.02 aphids/day.

Initial incidence of the rice gundhi bug was noticed on the 38th (third week of September) standard week and reached the peak in the 43rd (fourth week of october) standard week. At that time, average maximum temperature was 34.31°C and minimum temperature was 24.80°C, average morning relative humidity was 90.20% and evening 53.70%, average wind velocity was 1.01km/ hour and average sun shine hour was 8.7 hours.

The experiment was conducted during 2017-18, at college of agriculture, IGKV, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. By growing a total of 118 genotype accessions on July, 2017 in an augmented design. It was found that out of 118 fieldbean genotypes, 5 genotype were recorded as a tolerant with overall mean per cent foliage drying between 21-25 per cent, 39 genotype were observed as a moderately tolerant comprised with overall mean infestation between 26-46 per cent infestation, 48 genotype were observed as a susceptible comprised with overall mean foliage drying per cent infestation between 50-64 per cent infestation and 26 genotype were observed as a highly susceptible comprised with overall mean foliage drying per cent infestation between 77-78 per cent infestation. The aphid population was lowest (6.64/cm length around pod) in the tolerant genotypes IS-37, followed by the genotypes IS-56 (6.92/cm leng...

The ten okra genotypes viz. HRB-55, H14-A, JPM-20-16-32, IIVR-10, IC-14-934, IC-45862, JC-034-1124-A, VRO-6, 317-10-1, 326-10-1 were taken to know their response on incidence of major sucking pests viz., Aphid (Aphis gossypii), Jassid (Amrasca biguttula biguttula) and Red cotton bug (Dysdercus cingulatus). Among these ten genotypes VRO-6 showed the lowest mean population of aphid (1.57) and IIVR-10 showed the lowest mean population jassid (1.82) and red cotton bug (2.23). The highest population of all pests was recorded in genotype 31710-1. It is observed that the population of all sucking pests reached the peak level on 22 standard week.

Strengths and limitations of the techniques have been evaluated. The techniques can measure all the important pore characteristics of nonwovens without using any toxic material or high pressures.

Vapor at a constant pressure is maintained on one side of the textile and the increase in pressure of the vapor on the other side is measured. The technique was used to investigate two textiles. The vapor permeabilityof the textiles is almost five orders of magnitude lower than their air permeability. The air permeability of the textiles are identical, however, they show strong differences in vapor permeability.

The principles of anaesthetic management for surgery of critically ill neonates with common congenital malformations are briefly discussed in this article.

This error arises mainly due to the incorrect definition and evaluation of surface-charge density adopted in the paper. Further, the analysis presented completely ignores the beam-wave parameters of the optical radiation. Hence, necessary corrections to the expression for surface-charge density and modifications to the reflection coefficient at the membrane surface, by taking into account the beam-wave characteristics, are presented here.

Air permeability was almost zero. Water vapor permeability was zero during an incubation period. After the incubation period, the permeability became large and then gradually decreased with time. The behavior has been attributed to the contributions of chemical and mechanical forces to the net flux through the membrane. A model consistent with these results has been presented to explain absorption and transport of water vapor through nafion membranes.
