This oscillator circuit is designed using one CDTA and two grounded capacitors. By adjusting the bias of CDTA, the oscillation condition and the oscillation frequency can be controlled. The output of the oscillator is current and has high output impedance. It is resistorless and uses grounded capacitors, which ease the IC implementation. PSPICE simulation satisfies the theoretical results.

The operation of differential difference current controlled current conveyor transconductance amplifier is different from the operation of operational amplifier. The DVCCCTA can be used to design various circuits like integrator, differentiator, adder, substractor etc. The advantages of DVCCCTA are it has high slew rate, wide bandwidth, and also current processing capabilities at input terminals. Since DVCCCTA is not slew limited in the same fashion of OPAMP, it can provide amplification of high frequency signals with a constant bandwidth virtually independent of gain.

The proposed WPT system consists of two CHDR metamaterials separated by a distance and excited by two rectangular coils. Initially, this WPT system is analyzed by considering the cube dielectric permittivity, εr = 1000, and loss tangent, tanδ = 0.00001. From the Ansoft HFSS simulation, it is observed that the system operates in the hybrid resonance mode resonating as a horizontal magnetic dipole providing more than 90% power transfer efficiency at a distance of 0.1λ. In addition, parametric studies regarding the transmitter and receiver sizes, loss tangent, receiver misorientation, cube periodicity, etc. are carried out. One of the significant findings of this parametric study reveals that the suggested WPT system is less sensitive to the displacement of the receiver coil, and the WPT efficiency due to misorientation of the receiver can be increased by changing the CHDR cube rotation. Due to inaccessibility of the very high εr = 1000, eighteen microwave ceramic samples of EXXELIA TEMEX E5080 (Oxide composition: Ba Sm Ti) which has a permittivity, εr = 78, permeability, µr = 1, and a loss tangent, tanδ = 0.0004 was made for experimental verification. These cubes are surrounded by Teflon to make the CHDR resonators. From simulations and measurements, it is found that the proposed system outperforms the most recent high-dielectric or copper based WPT systems in terms of efficiency, range, size, and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).

To overcome the telemetry problem, we propose a conformal spiral type Implantable antenna at Medical Implanted Communication Service (MICS) band. In addition, we also apply the recently proposed midfield wireless power transfer (WPT) technique at 1.5 GHz to avoid the bulky energy storage component. We simulate and experimentally measure the performance of the implantable antenna by using porcine heart tissue. Our research shows that, the implantable antenna and wireless power transfer scheme can be implemented in a leadless pacemaker without any significant coupling between them.

Modeling the disk plasma as a Hall magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) system, we find that the space-time curvature can significantly alter the magnetic (velocity) decay rates as we move away from the compact object; the velocity profiles in BB states, for example, deviate substantially from the predicted corresponding geodesic velocity profiles. These departures imply a rich interplay of plasma dynamics and general relativity revealed by examining the corresponding Bernoulli condition representing "homogeneity" of total energy. The relaxed states have their origin in the constraints provided by the two helicity invariants of Hall MHD. These helicities conspire to introduce an oscillatory length scale into the system that is strongly influenced by relativistic and t...

Digital Image Processing, 2014

Image inpainting is an image processing technique to remove unwanted objects from the images by d... more Image inpainting is an image processing technique to remove unwanted objects from the images by diffusing the pixel information from the neighborhood pixels. Image inpainting techniques are in use over a long time for various applications like removal of objects from the images, scratch removal and so on. The algorithms developed can be broadly categorized into two major classes: Structure inpainting and Texture inpainting. Structures inpainting techniques are used to remove objects or inpaint the image against a homogeneous background where as the texture inpainting techniques are used to diffuse texture map in the inpainted area. Most of the structure inpainting techniques propagate the information from the inpainting boundary into the inpainting area. Number of iterations are to be selected manually prior to the inpainting in order to avoid instability. In this work we present simple and unexplored inpainting technique which achieves better results in terms of both visual quality and analytical quality. The technique is inherently stable and converges. In this project we propose three techniques: Median Inpaiting based technique. Gaussian Pyramidal Technique. Local Binary pattern based Image Inpainting Technique. The proposed algorithm is based on propagating 1) median value, 2) Gaussian filtered values and 3) LBP values of pixels from exterior area to be inpainted into the inner area. Results show remarkable improvements in terms of PSNR over the methods proposed by Bertalmio and Roth.

We make use of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique for the band pass modulation methods. Here we also make use of the multiband OFDM transmitter that consists of blocks performing IFFT, interleaving, puncturing of sequences and modulation using orthogonal sequences. The main purpose of our paper is to set a basic example of working with higher error correcting codes over real number sequences directly using Fourier transforms and implement it through the noisy AWGN channel using the latest OFDM technique.[1].

The transconductance (g m) of CDTA is generally increased either by increasing the biasing current I B or by increasing the size of transistors used in differential pair and current mirror structures. The first technique leads to higher power dissipation and limited range of transconductance while the second limits the input/output swing and bandwidth of CDTA due to higher parasitic capacitances. In the proposed design of CDTA, a cross coupled PMOS active load has been used in place of conventional PMOS active load. The cross coupled PMOS active load forms a positive feedback which results in higher transconductance, wider tuning range and less power consumption without any limitations on input/output swing and bandwidth of the CDTA. Mentor Graphics Eldo simulation tool has been used to verify the performance of proposed CDTA with TSMC 0.18 lm technology parameters. A voltage/current mode oscillator circuit of third order has been designed by proposed CDTA.
