Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang dilakukan di Desa Mukai Seberang Kecamatan Siula... more Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang dilakukan di Desa Mukai Seberang Kecamatan Siulak Mukai Kabupaten Kerinci bertujuan memberikan informasi atau transfer ilmu pengetahuan mengenai pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dalam pengembangan tanaman organic sebagai penunjang ekonomi keluarga khususnya bagi rumah tangga yang melakukannya. Waktu kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai dengan bulan Januari 2023 dengan sasaran mitra kegiatan adalah bapakbapak dan ibu-ibu rumah tangga Desa Mukai Seberang yang berjumlah 1.282 orang. Evaluasi kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman warga sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Secara umum menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan mitra mengenai pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dari yang belum tahu menjadi lebih paham dan termotivasi. Sebelum ada kegiatan PKM hanya sebagian warga desa yang memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan dan sifatnya hanya sambilan. Setelah adanya kegiatan PKM, mitra semakin paham manfaat dan metode pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dan mitra yang belum memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan termotivasi untuk memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga.

Sementara, berdasarkan teori, pemasaran memegang peranan penting bagi perusahaan(1), dimana semua kegiatan menerapkan inovasi baik dalam pemasaran maupun keuangan, namun kelompok tani ini belum mampu mengembangkan usahanya, akibatnya kesejahteraan keluarga belum memadai yang disebabkan hasil yang didapatkan tidak sesuai dengan tenaga dan modal yang dikeluarkan. Penyebabnya adalah karena belum adanya sentuhan teknologi sederhana dalam kegiatan mereka dalam pengelolaan produk yang masih seadanya dan pemasaran yang dilakukan masih menitipkan ke toko-toko, serta dari kunjungan ke tempat pembuatannya. The sample in this study were employees of PT. Pan Baruna was limited by the administration division and the sales division, which amounted to 87 people. The current study was carried out to standardize the optimum soaking and germination conditions with improved nutritional, sensorial and phytochemical attributes of seeds. Nigella sativa seeds were soaked for different time duration (0 hr, 6 hr, 12 hr and 18 hr) followed bygermination for0, 7, 9 and 11 days. The soaked and germinated samples were exposed to a temperature of 50ºC for drying till the constant moisture was obtained and analysed for various physiochemical, nutritional and sensory attributes.
