There were chosen some agroecosystems from long-term crop rotation, single-crop systems, weedfree fallow (55 years), fallow (55 years). The researches has shown that, with anthropic-impact amplification (soil tillage), physical soil properties such as structure, plasticity, adherence are getting worse. The best physical soil properties were established at fallow (55 years) and the worst at weed-free-fallow (55 years), the other studied agroecosystems takes an intermediate position between these two extremes.

This triad of features influence each other and equally determines soil quality and fertility. The paper includes the study regarding physical state of the chernozem soil characterized by bulk density – soil physical property that estimate soil compaction. The study took place in long-term field experiments of the Selectia Research Institute of Field Crop located in the North part of Moldova. The experimental data were obtained in 2019-2020 agriculture year. The soil bulk density, studied in different crop rotations and fertilization systems, was determined under winter wheat agrocenosis after harvesting in the 0-40 cm soil layer. The researches has shown that chernozem soil bulk density registered more favorable indices in crop rotations that include: perennial legumes and grasses in a mixture or only perennial legumes; less row crops - which means minimizing tillage (mechanic disturbance of soil). Rega...

The purpose of this paper is to agrophysics quality assessing and soil moisture by application of the conservative system of soil tillage No-till in Republic of Moldova. Conservation of soil tillage system offers more favorable conditions dense root system of plants (Aon et al., 2001; Barzegar et al., 2004) compared to hoes crops (maize). In this conservative system of work of carbonate chernozem (No-till) occurs water conservation under depth of 60 cm. According to planning for the year 2016 at the experimental resort Chetrosu were founded research polygons with conventional and conservative work of the soil No-till within the stationary with crop rotation and permanent crop maize. Crop rotation and research variants for the agricultural years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 are presented in Table 1. Soil water reserves in the veg...

The aim of this work was to evaluate the plasticity and water-stable microaggregates content (<0.25 mm) of soil in various agroecosystems and to show the correlations established between them. These soil properties sensitize very well biochemical and physical soil changes and can be used as diagnostical indexes. The study was conducted on carbonate chernozem at the Didactic Station “Chetrosu” of the State Agrarian University of Moldova, including long-term crop rotation agroecosystems, single-crop systems (55 years) fallow, alfalfa, weed-free fallow and single-maize-crop system (29 years). The researches has shown that, with anthropic-impact amplification, soil plasticity is decreasing and powder fraction (<0.25 mm) content is increasing. The best physic and physic-mechanical soil properties (water-stable microaggregate...

This will lead to optimal technological interventions in agroecosystem. The paper exposes the particularities of the winter wheat root system development in a long-term crop rotation with 5 fields, grown on carbonate chernozem in conventional (plowing) and conservative (no-tillage) systems. The research took place at the Didactic Station “Chetrosu” of the State Agrarian University of Moldova, located in the South-East side of the Central Moldavian Plateau. There were established the regularities of roots’ architectural spreading dependence of soil genetic characteristics, carbonate chernozem agrophisical parameters and of some ...
We have studied productivity elements soil moisture, agro-physical properties, soil disturbance, ... more We have studied productivity elements soil moisture, agro-physical properties, soil disturbance, edaphic volume and the root system in the conservative non-tillage system as compared to the traditional system ploughing. The experiments included 7 soles and 3 agrocoenoses winter wheat, maize as a repeated culture (34 years), rotation of maize and beans. The soil from the studied agricultural ecosystem is sandy loam carbonate chernozem, the content of physic loam (<0.01 mm) is 22-25%. It was stated that soil moisture in the conservative no-tillage system is directly influenced by agrocoenoses, the stage of plant development and more compact horizons (20-30 cm) greatly favour the location of the root system closer to the surface, which causes the inhomogeneity of water content available on the soil profile. The data showed that we should study water on the whole humified profile in the conservative tillage system. We found out that the no-tillage conservative system increases water ...

There also were determined the cellulolytic activity in dependence of experimental plots location toward forest strip. The study was carried out at the Didactic Experimental Station “Chetrosu” of the State Agrarian University of Moldova on carbonate chernozem with sandy loam texture. The cellulolytic activity was determined according to the Misustin E., 1978, method based on the principle of cellulose decomposition under aerobic conditions by incorporating linen tissue in the 0-30 cm soil layer. The research has shown that soil cellulolytic activity is characterized with very low index level under both Plowing and No-till variants during June of 2017-2018 crop year that registered dry weather conditions. The presence of forest strip near the crop land has revealed its beneficial influence on soil moisture preserve that facilitated cellul...
