It can be already anticipated that the demand for much higher bit rate services with high mobility will increase rapidly. This kind of demand requires a new air interface technology since current systems offer high bit rate for low mobility or low bit rate for high mobility. In order to satisfy these new services requirements, MATRICE project specifies and evaluates innovative solutions for a broadband component of Beyond 3 rd Generation (B3G) systems supporting bit rates up to 100 Mbps, mobility up to 300km/h and high Quality of Service (QoS) for both indoor and outdoor environments. The solution proposed within MATRICE project will be based on MC-CDMA, advanced features of the physical layer such as multi-user detection, beamforming and MIMO techniques, and sophisticated radio resource management algorithms. The aim of the present del...

This approach enables us to take into account for the first time odd correlations. The families of obtained sequences, in the binary and quaternary cases, are compared with those of the litterature.

ICWMC 2012 addressed wireless related topics concerning integration of latest technological advances to realize mobile and ubiquitous service environments for advanced applications and services in wireless networks. Mobility and wireless, special services and lessons learnt from particular deployment complemented the traditional wireless topics. We take here the opportunity to warmly thank all the members of the ICWMC 2012 Technical Program Committee, as well as the numerous reviewers. The creation of such a high quality conference program would not have been possible without their involvement. We also kindly thank all the authors who dedicated much of their time and efforts to contribute to ICWMC 2012. We truly believe that, thanks to all these efforts, the final conference program consisted of top quality contributions. Also, this event could not have been a reality without th...

This will place unique requirements on its architectural design, as a vastly heterogeneous set of stake holders tussling to promote business and social opportunities, while addressing technical and incentive barriers. This paper describes a set of high level architectural models which can be used for including sensing and actuation services into the Future Internet. As such architectures can only be implemented through the cooperation of a wide variety of business actors, the ultimate design will not be under the control of any single entity. Tussles will be played out during the lifecycle of the system, which will cause an evolution of the approach to specific functions. We therefore apply an analysis of these tussles to derive architectural boundaries and interfaces which will allow the system to evolve through these t...

The cost function for which a global minimum is to be sought is of the same mathematical structure as the energy function of a spin-glass system or of a recursive neural network. Hence, the global minimization problem can be solved by mean field annealing (MFA). The experimental results obtained with an MFA asynchronous implementation show that the method advocated is well suited to solve the problem

We assume that the information available in an image may be conveniently represented symbolically in a relational graph. We concentrate on the problem of matching two such graphs. First we derive a cost function associated with graph matching and more precisely associated with relational subgraph isomorphism and with maximum relational subgraph matching. This cost function is well suited for optimization methods such as simulated annealing. We show how the graph matching problem is easily cast into a simulated annealing algorithm. Finally we show some preliminary experimental results and discuss the utility of this graph matching method in computer vision in general.
