Traditional systems development is characterized by long systems development processes that do no... more Traditional systems development is characterized by long systems development processes that do not meet the requirements of the customer. These systems problem manifests itself often in such a way that requirements are not met in terms of time requirements, budget requirements and quality standards. To overcome these problems, so apply today systems development methods, the idea of these methods is to structure work in such a way that it allows management and quality assurance of the systems development processes are implemented. These methods are often characterized by the fact that they are designed to fit a so-called ideal case, ie. they are developed to solve a specific task for a specific situation. In recent years, the notion that these systems development methods need to be specialized, ie. situation adapted to suit the unique situation has taken root. This situation is all about adapting to customize these methods to the unique situation of that through that achieve the best efficiency of system development methodology. This paper has taken in this situation need to adapt systems development methodologies to suit the unique situation. The focus of this paper is that by understanding the goals, challenges and success factors that influence a situation adaptation formulate a rule of thumb that facilitate this adaptation work.

Dessa systemutvecklingsproblem yttrar sig ofta på så sätt att kraven inte möts vad gäller tidskrav, budgetkrav och kvalitetskrav.För att komma till rätta med dessa problem så tillämpas idag systemutvecklingsmetoder, och iden med dessa metoder är att strukturera arbetet på ett sådant sätt så att det möjliggör styrning och kvalitetssäkring av de systemutvecklingsprocesser som genomförs. Dessa metoder karaktäriseras ofta av att de är utvecklade för att passa ett så kallat idealfall, dvs. de är utvecklade för lösa en specifik uppgift för en specifik situation.Under senare år har uppfattningen om att dessa systemutvecklingsmetoder måste specialiseras, dvs. situationsanpassas för att passa den unika situationen slagit rot. T... more The study explores the subjects of organizational change and management of intercultural teams. The goal of the study is to spread knowledge about how an intercultural team should be managed in order to assure the best possible success of an organizational change initiative. It has long been recognized that organizations constantly need to change in order to stay competitive. At the same time it has also been recognized that organizations today operate on the global arena with operations spread to many different parts of the world. It is thus important to understand how an intercultural team should be managed in order to assure the success of an organizational change initiative. The aim of this study has been to provide information and guidelines that may be used by academia as well as professionals to better understand how to manage an intercultural team that conducts an organizational change. A total of six different guidelines have been presented in this research-each one important in assuring an effective teamwork and a successful organizational change. The study has been conducted using a qualitative research approach and the method used for gathering data has been interviews as well as literature studies.
