Therefore, it is proposed the algorithm of the Integrated Framework for Conceptual Modeling (IFCMod) that consists five components for integration of the functional requirements (FRs) and the non-functional requirements (NFRs) in a common conceptual model. In this paper, this theoretical algorithm of the IFCMod, has been developed further on, through the presentation of the details of the components of each algorithm step which are used to create a final product as the requirements document and the integrated conceptual model. This algorithm is also validated in a Higher Education Institution through the Mixed Method Case Study of improvement of the e-Schedule system. The outcomes show that the usage of the IFCMod during the system analysis and design stage decrease the reported problems and requests by users ...

With the rise of the number of cloud providers which offer a lot of cloud services, lead in creating the difficulties to the users to choose the cloud computing platforms based on their needs, and it creates a competition between the cloud providers. The purpose of this paper is the comparison of the cloud computing platforms provided by Amazon and Google in terms of the offered categories, services, and prices per instance in the year 2014 and 2016 in order to help users and cloud providers with this computing paradigm.

This paper attempts to explore the outcomes of the IFCMod usage through the Mixed Method Case Studies at the Higher Education Institution and the Central Bank. The case study at the South East European University (SEEU) was the analysis and design of the improvement of the e-Schedule system, while the case study at the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK) was the analysis and design of the Data Collection System for Enterprise Surveys (DCSES). Based on the institutional perspective of the community participation during the semi-structure interviews, at the end of the Joint Approval Requirements (JAR) meetings, in both cases, the outcomes showed that IFCMod usage increases the quality of the information system by increasing quality in the system requirements.

During research conducted is identified that most of the scholars have been working for the requirements definition during the meeting with the client, even they started to initiate the validation by checking whether the requirements captures the needs of client but not the approval of the requirements. Therefore, it is proposed the Joint Approval Requirements (JAR) method based on identified gaps through literature review and work experience. In this paper, this theoretical JAR method has been developed further on, through the presentation of its details about approval of the final version of the functional and nonfunctional requirements document and the integrated conceptual model of the IS. The presented method is ready for the research community in order to implement in different industries to measure the effect of the JAR method in the system requirements.

Conceptual modeling is supporting understanding and communication of the requirements in developi... more Conceptual modeling is supporting understanding and communication of the requirements in developing the information system (IS). The nature of requirements is usually divided into the functional (FRs) and non-functional requirements (NFRs). Thus, the scholars who are representing the conceptual modeling separate FRs and NFRs. Attempting to create an integrated framework for conceptual modeling of FRs and NFRs a new approach is being represented. In order to justify the approach, the research work and relevant literature in the field by using integrated perspective has been analyzed in this paper. As an outcome of this review, the need for an integrated approach to the requirement determination and proposed an integrated framework for conceptual modeling, which shall include the functional and non-functional requirements in one conceptual model has been identified. There is also identified that a small number of researchers have worked in this field, whilst the failure rate of the IS implementation which continues to be high has been the motivation, therefore the concept of proposing an integrated framework which will contribute to the increase of the efficacy of the requirements from the analysis phase in order to secure the sustainability of the IS has been approached.
