Thus, we improve and complement recent results established by Z. Mustafa et al.\ [J.\ Inequal.\ Appl.\ 2014, 2014:46] and A. Razani, V. Parvaneh [Russ.\ Math.\ (Izv.\ VUZ), 57 (3), 38--45 (2013)], with much shorter proofs. Moreover, we show that the results of A.H. Ansari et al.\ [J. Inequal.\ Appl.\ 2014, 2014:429] are not generalizations of the known ones. An example is given illustrating our results.

To establish all of our results in the manuscript, we just used Wardowski's strictly increasing property. Using the aforementioned results as an application, we demonstrate that the Volterra type integral equation has a solution and is stable in the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias-Wright sense.

The main result is also illustrated by an example to demonstrate the degree of validity of our hypothesis.

Within this manuscript we generalize the two recently obtained results of O. Popescu and G. Stan,... more Within this manuscript we generalize the two recently obtained results of O. Popescu and G. Stan, regarding the F-contractions in complete, ordinary metric space to 0-complete partial metric space and 0-complete metric-like space. As Popescu and Stan we use less conditions than D. Wardovski did in his paper from 2012, and we introduce, with the help of one of our lemmas, a new method of proving the results in fixed point theory. Requiring that the function F only be strictly increasing, we obtain for consequence new families of contractive conditions that cannot be found in the existing literature. Note that our results generalize and complement many well-known results in the fixed point theory. Also, at the end of the paper, we have stated an application of our theoretical results for solving fractional differential equations.

We have showed that established results for both types of contractive mappings are in the fact equivalent. By using this result obtained so far we discuss some examples at the end of this paper. All these examples show the advantage of our results.

By using our new approach for the proof that one Picard’s sequence isbbl−Cauchy in the context of b-metric-like spaces, we get much shorter proofs than the ones mentioned in the recent papers. Also, by the use of our method, we complement and enrich some common fixed point results forβq,ϕs,ψ−contraction mappings. Our approach in this paper generalizes and modifies several comparable results in the existing literature.

The obtained types of mappings generalize from previously known ones within ordinary metric spaces. We have shown by examples that these types of mappings are really different. They can be used to consider new fixed point results which were done in the paper for the case of common fixed points of some mappings. The results in this paper generalize, extend, unify, enrich and complement many known results in the existing literature.

Mathematics as a school subject is something that burdens them, and math classes are a real torture for them. How to learn mathematics and have the desired grade is a problem for students and their parents, as well as for teachers. Many mathematicians, pedagogues and psychologists have researched what it is that would increase students' motivation to adopt mathematical content. Some believe that the students' success to a large extent depends on the competencies and engagement of teachers, while others believe that the student himself and its inner motivation are of crucial importance. A student who has an "internal drive", who has the will and desire to work, who is persistent and does not give up on his goals achieves the best results. In this paper, we have dealt with the problem of motivation in students in the lower grades of primary school in the teaching of mathematics. ...

Using our new approach, the conditions (W2) and (W3) of Wardowski do not apply for the proof of Cauchyness of the Picard-Jungck sequence. Our results generalize, improve and complement several results in the existing literature.

The existence and uniqueness of a Kronrod type extension to the wellknown Gauss-Turan quadrature ... more The existence and uniqueness of a Kronrod type extension to the wellknown Gauss-Turan quadrature formulas were proved by Li (1994, pp.71-83). For the generalized Chebyshev weight functions and for the Gori-Micchelli weight function, we found explicit formulas of the corresponding generalized Stieltjes polynomials. General real Kronrod extensions of the Gaussian quadrature formulas with multiple nodes are introduced. In some cases, the explicit expressions of the polynomials, whose zeros are the nodes of the considered quadratures, are determined.

We show that most fixed point results obtained so far in cone metric spaces over solid non-normal... more We show that most fixed point results obtained so far in cone metric spaces over solid non-normal cones can be easily reduced to the case of solid normal cones and, hence, their proofs can be made much simpler. Also, cone tvs-valued spaces over solid cones are not an essential generalization of cone metric spaces. These results are consequences of the simple fact that each solid cone in a topological vector space is in fact normal under a suitably defined norm. The proof follows by using the technique of Minkowski functional. As an application of these results, we prove an extension of the classical Nemytzki-Edelstein fixed point result to (tvs)-(b)-cone metric spaces over solid cones.
