It is on the controversy whether the Mesolithic inhabitants have such concept on monumental-building in comparison with that of the Neolithic. Recent excavation in Göbekli Tepe illustrates possibilities there would have been a sort of monumentality before the Neolithic. The existence of complex hunter-gatherers and mobile agriculturalists provides crucial clues to identify this obstacle.
