Through the application of the 3R (Reduce, reuse and recycle), it is possible to achieve a modification in the environmental culture of a site. This study focuses on evaluating the scope of environmental education in the 3R culture in the urban areaof the municipality of Nuevo Cuscatlán, El Salvador, in 2021, which is why it was carried out through a mixed methodology, with interviews with key actors and inhabitants of the area. In order to generate a positive impact, alliances between industry, local governments and the population are needed, therefore the researchers dedicate this study to them appropriately
