understand how therapeutic and/or nontherapeutic groups will generate, create, and express themselves through different levels of communication and interpersonal relationships, as at the transpersonal level (group field), which is deeply influenced and interdependent on the different personal and group matrices. The author will share with you some of his reflections on neuroscientific and neuropsychoanalytic contributions and updates regarding the current understanding of the functioning of the Human Mind, contributing to a better understanding of how group processes impact Individual Minds and the interaction styles of group members, based on proposals and contributions from several authors in Neuro-Psychoanalysis and Group Analysis. The group is nothing more than a sounding board and amplification of interactions between Individual Minds supported by the intuitions, deductions, and assessments that each of the group members exposes in verbal and nonverbal communications articulated with the individual capacities to feel, empathize, interact, and, finally, to understand and recognize.

They used family sessions, with a concomitant hearing of the patient alone, combined with the use of an opioid antagonist, called naltrexone. The young man was adopted by an uncle, married to his mother's sister, because his mother was divorced, living alone, and was too old to support, contain and provide her son with the necessary basis for treatment. The uncle assumed the tutorage of the case completely and gave his nephew the basis for identification and psychic maturation. The young man has now a year of treatment with a satisfactory evolution: he has had good results in his studies, has achieved good family and social integration, and does not use heroin.

The enrollment rate recorded was 76%, and the participation rates during the course of the program were 88% after 3 months of administering the antagonist, 57% after 6 months, 47% after 9 months and 46% at the end of the 12th month. The results showed that age and previous scholarship levels, as well as parental or marital conflicts were significant predictors of over the subjects' total participation time in the program. The heroin-addicts with higher levels of scholarship or with drug abuse problems with other family members had more relapses during the treatment. No differences were found in the clinical variables of the therapeutic evolution among drug-addicts belonging to nuclear or enlarged family structures and single-parent or reconstructed family structures, which suggests that Sequential Combined Treatment (SCT) seems to have sufficiently similar results independently of the type of family structure to which they belong.

This methodology resorts to several techniques in a combined way, such as: family therapy and counselling; the use of psychopharmacology and opioide antagonists; as well as individual and group psycho-therapeutics. These are all linked to a personal psycho-social rehabilitation program. This treatment is based on family accessibility and therapeutic community programs. The authors review different contributions and the evolution of different therapeutic modalities. Finally they propose a list for inductions and another for the formal contra-indications for this kind of treatment.

This is an extensive and systematic critical review of the book entitled: "Psychoanalysis, Group ... more This is an extensive and systematic critical review of the book entitled: "Psychoanalysis, Group Analysis and Beyond - Towards a New Paradigm of the Human Being" by two groups and psychoanalysts of Mexican nationality, he, Argentinian of birth, respectively, Juan Tubert-Oklander and Reyna Hernández-Tubert, who supported in a wide and current bibliography, propose some new ideas on how to think and understand the People within their family, social and political contexts, as beings of dual nature, biological and psychic/mental from bio psychic dynamics, or unconscious, or conscious that express themselves at different levels of communication and relationship (intra-psyche, interpersonal and transpersonal). In this collection of articles published in the last 25 years, we find very bold and innovative proposals all written in an elegant style. The texts are supported by a solid argumentative and epistemological structure with the purpose of thinking and reviewing some of our "visions" about what it is to be a Person, proposing lines of thought to develop new conceptual paradigms, for example, how to end the highly problematic opposition of what is "individual" before what is "collective" (Tubert-Oklander, 2014).

The authors think that the group analytic setting allows these phenomena to come to light quickly and clearly, more here than in the individual setting; allowing the parties to work through conflicts, anger, and hostility within the group analytic setting, predisposing them to reconciliation.
The authors begin with an introduction to the current neuro-scientific research on the concepts of Rage, Anger, and Aggression. The phenomenology and causality of rage behavior in groups will be explored thereafter as well as the technique used to deal with them so that they may be worked through. This knowledge was developed based on the authors’ clinical experience, as well as other sources including a survey of the majority of senior members of the Portuguese Society of Group Analysis and Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy. Finally, the authors make some concluding remarks.

Each group analyst must develop personal attributes and also affective/cognitive capabilities required to become a 'good enough group analyst'. Throughout group therapy sessions, specific dimensions appear related to each group analyst. These are of particular importance for a good evolution of group processes, pertaining to his 'presence' face-to-face with the group and to his personal 'style'.

Foulkes and E.J. Anthony (1957 [1984]). Meanwhile E.L. Cortesão (1967; 1979; 1988; 1989 [2008]; 1991) tackled the initial conceptualizations of matrix and group processes, believing they were not sufficiently developed to explain the technique or any other meta-theory in group analysis. So he developed a complementary point of view, the concept of ‘pattern’, which would embrace all the phenomena related to the matrix and simultaneously be more aware of the conductor’s presence and influence through his personal and general characteristics, his specific postures and his attitudes when he holds and sustains the group process within the matrix. He proposed this concept of pattern as a kind of imprint brought by the conductor into the group’s matrix, which conveys and sustains the matrix when he promotes and develops a group-analytic process.

In order to support the development effort and provide a test infrastructure, an international grid testbed has been deployed across 9 countries. Through the deployment of the testbed and its supporting services, CrossGrid is also contributing to another important project objective, the expansion of the grid coverage in Europe. This paper describes the status of the CrossGrid testbed.
