There is a clear shortage in addressing the topic from multidisciplinary perspectives that highlight the importance of local entrepreneurship across different boarders. van Ham et al (2017) work comes to explore how entrepreneurship can influence transformation in neighbourhoods and communities, particularly through entrepreneurially driven residents who can help in reducing socioeconomic instability and poverty. Future effects of neighbourhood entrepreneurs are explored along with the challenges it brings specially to low income neighbourhoods and how it reflects even on the economics of the places. A recommendation for further studies be done in different geographies in order to bring in more global solutions that would enhance the innovation and creativity of rural areas of many developing and emerging economy countries.

Based on the literature review, a theoretical framework is hypothesised. The framework proposes the relation between the socioeconomic projects, four stages and their potential impact and spillovers. Selective cases relevant to projects of poverty elimination, healthcare development and women empowerment are carefully studied and dissected. Then, each case is evaluated in relevance to its value chain through a detailed summary. The impact and spillover of each of the sampled projects are illustrated and clarified. Despite its limitations, this study carries important implications as it brings in diverse tools for gauging the different efforts in journey related to creating a socioeconomic outcome.

In inspiration however, problem solving can take further meaning in that problems; complexities and challenges are sources of insights, persistence, perseverance and most of all better visualization over time. In this study we investigate the problem solving journey and see how inspiration lab contributes to its development and in tackling complex socioeconomic issues. An investigation of the problem statements in the different inspiration labs carried out in the last five years is done to evaluate the importance of problem statements in creating effective solution. The paper concludes with recommendation for future research in this line to help further breakthroughs in this field where problem solving would be a source for discovering more opportunities and creating inspiration currencies that creates better social and economic results and outcomes.

More than fifty Arab initiatives were studied to see how they started by social change entrepreneurs through capturing opportunities that came due to community needs, gaps, challenges, crisis. The study shows that even hidden opportunities can be exploited through utilising the alertness psychology of the entrepreneurs along with problem solving techniques and optimising their social capital that each opportunity brings. The originality of this work is that it shows that capturing opportunities can occur when people are more driven by values, or vision, or self-purposefulness. It is very important to all Social Change Agents and especially in developing countries/regions as the Arab World. The limitation to data screened in this study doesn't undermine the possibility for generalising it further in different areas in the world as it carries a great development potential for our socio-economies and even to the world abundance thinking.

Since the 1960's of the earlier century, many studies have focused on what and how people move in and out of poverty, however, few have gone in-depth of when people go into poverty and why they to that stage. In this paper, the author attempts to take a reflective approach about how people may go into the trap of poverty, or deepen their status into it without having the psychological resilience. With the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the world is expected to lower middle class, and more people would be deeply living in absolute poverty that would come back to many areas in the world, Buheji (2019c). Therefore, finding proper frameworks that would mitigates the expected psychological scare and emotional pain is highly important. The implication here is that the framework is very pragmatic and need to be disseminated to the poor communities through all the recovery projects.

Therefore, many family members are trying to find more innovative ways to manage their ageing parents and provide them with the best quality of life. Many of these ageing parents might have reversible dementia which can be restored, or maintained through cognitive activities. Based on the synthesis of the literature review, the types of fluid thinking driven gamification suitable for an ageing parent are defined. These types are set in one framework to help the family members, and the designers of the game to ensure all the assessment inputs, the activities of game deployment and the outcome are precise. Despite the limitation of the none-tested framework, this paper carries significant implications for ageing parents caregivers and family members who are keen to mitigate their loved ones challenge of memory loss. The paper opens a variety of opportunities for future research in areas of geriatric care, neuroscience, intergeneration, and gamification.

Poverty, unemployment, women inequality, youth migration, access to education, lack of both cultu... more Poverty, unemployment, women inequality, youth migration, access to education, lack of both cultural synergy and religious intolerance has been one of the significant challenges of the 21 st century. Such complex socioeconomic issues, since simple models could not solve it became more socio-political, legal, technological and environmental problems. Since poverty as a socioeconomic issue could be seen as an integrated problem that has a negative influence on many parts of community quality life, it became over the last four years, since the International Inspiration Economy Project established in 15 th of September, 2015. This involvement was deepening over these the years through the more than 40 inspiration labs that focused on poverty-related issues. Knowing that poverty has been the challenge for many countries, economies and communities, inspiration economy considered more focused involvement in this issue in order to give models of what difference could be made. In order to calibrate the rapid developments of 'poverty elimination' efforts, it is now about time to improve our quest for more inspiration labs on the economy of poverty. Besides increasing our projects in the different areas of current and future poverty, we are also increasing our interest in publishing papers in this issue and encouraging more academics and practitioners to publish about this field stories in poverty communities. The developments of inspiration labs are now exploiting the opportunities of future poverty. Now inspiration labs are working on projects are trying to foresight and shape the future poverty economy in different communities, through a selection of approaches of solving communities' problems today. Since poverty has been and would continue to be highly correlated to the issue of human inequalities that limit many people from accessing key resources. Thus, inspiration labs are working on redefining communities' approaches towards current and future inequality. This is highly essential, if we want future generations to be more resilient and ready for the coming threats of the different forms of poverty. This is very important not only for the poor, but even for the many people coming up in the world's emerging middle-class who remain vulnerable to falling back into poverty. Inspiration Labs is becoming gradually recognised as one of the efforts to deal with the first and top priority United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDG1) that is focusing on eliminating all the known types of poverty. The labs are even calling for a new SDG1 that set the framework for redefining the approaches on the way poverty is eliminated or alleviated. If this happens more, one could expect the development of the international focus towards field efforts in dealing with the poverty economy from assets and wealth perspectives. In order to sustain the effectiveness of the field efforts of poverty-focused 'inspiration labs,' we need more publications that help to share the success stories of the models achieved on the ground. This would provide more empirical evidence to remodel the current and future approaches towards being more adaptable to fostering more selective socioeconomic solution to each type of foresighted poverty.

In this book Dr Buheji address how KM holistically influences the different organisational development practices, specifically in the context of the government sector. To ascertain the relationships between KM and four prevalent organizational development practices namely Organisational Excellence, Learning, Innovation and Organisational Competitiveness; a quantitative survey approach was undertaken using a series of researcher-developed scales. Dr. Buheji concept of the holistic influence of KM shows clearly that if knowledge well managed it can lead to government competitiveness, which is very essential in Knowledge Economy.

The author focuses first on the history of governments' productivity with direct focus on competitiveness. The concept of scarcity and abundance in the practices of government are compared to inspiring governments. The book argues about the importance of 'inspiring government' in the near future for better stability and sustainable reviving society. Inspiration role in creating lean, learning, innovative, quality of life governments are being compared. Inspirational competitiveness and government innovation are discussed in relevance to building more agile and totally engaged governments. The book discusses the mechanisms and sources of inspiration in government and even give examples on indicators. The citizens' expectations and mind-set during an inspiration based economy are also reviewed. The book is full of examples of future expected practices of inspiring governments which serves as a kick start for further studies in this area.

We aimed to describe the association between the global recovery and mortality rates of COVID-19 cases in different countries and the Human Development Index (HDI) as a socioeconomic indicator.
METHODS: A correlational (ecological) study design is used. The analysis used data from 173 countries. Poisson regression models were applied to study the relationship between HDI and pandemic recovery and mortality rates, adjusting for country median age and country male to female sex ratio.
RESULTS: During the first three months, the global pooled recovery rate was 32.4% (95% CI 32.3%-32.5%), and the pooled mortality rate was 6.95% (95% CI 6.94%-6.99%). Regression models revealed that HDI was positively associated with recovery = 1.37, p = 0.016. HDI was also positively associated with the mortality outcome = 1.79, p = 0.016. CONCLUSIONS: Our findings imply that the positive association between the HDI and recovery rates is reflective of the pandemics' preparedness. The positive association between the HDI and mortality rates points to vulnerabilities in approaches to tackle health crises. It is critical to better understand the connection between nations' socioeconomic factors and their readiness for future pandemics in order to strengthen public health policies.
