It is during the primary education stage that children begin to awaken their interest in science ... more It is during the primary education stage that children begin to awaken their interest in science and, in turn, have new mathematical, geographical, and scientific knowledge, which are the basis for understanding astronomical aspects. This research focuses on developing an Augmented Reality Mobile Application based on the Mobile-D methodology for the teaching-learning process of astronomy in 4th and 6th grade students. The random selection design of an experimental group applied to a sample of 60 students was used, subdivided into groups of 30 students each. Finally, it can be concluded that the use of an Augmented Reality mobile application for the teaching-learning process significantly influences elementary school students in the subject of astronomy.

Over the years, a wide variety of respiratory diseases have caused a high mortality rate througho... more Over the years, a wide variety of respiratory diseases have caused a high mortality rate throughout the world. This was again observed with the appearance of the pandemic, COVID-19. In addition, the most affected are people living in extreme poverty. The objective is design a mobile health application for the registration and diagnosis of respiratory diseases. For this, the RUP methodology was applied, because it easily adapts to various types of projects. Its use, together with the UML process development software, allows the analysis, implementation and documentation of object oriented systems. For validation, a user survey was carried out and the questionnaire was based on the dimensions of functionality, efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction. Obtaining as a result a positive qualification to the design of the application and its acceptance due to the reduction in the time to obtain the diagnosis. In conclusion, a mobile health application design was successfully carried out so that patients can register and have the diagnosis of respiratory diseases from the comfort of their home.

That is why an important factor for the resumption of on-site classes is the creation of sanitary measures to help control Covid-19. The present research is a literature review, The PRISMA methodology is used and 265 articles are collected from various databases such as EBSCO Host, IEEE Xplore, SAGE, ScienceDirect, and Scopus. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the most relevant articles aligned to the topic were identified, systematizing 119 articles. Showcasing digital technologies used in mobile applications that allow better control, tracking, and monitoring of the health status of students, teachers, and staff of educational centers, in addition to the parameters and quality attributes that must be taken into account for the effective sanitary control of the disease, finally, a development model is proposed.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, small clothing sales companies lost economic income and customers d... more During the COVID-19 pandemic, small clothing sales companies lost economic income and customers due to a lack of digital transformation, causing the dismissal of many employees. Due to this problem, our objective is to design an ecommerce mobile application for the sale of clothes, so that Small and medium-sized enterprises dedicated to this area generate income and retain their customers. For this, the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology was applied, because this methodology provides a structured way for companies or developers to visualize the development of the software, and for the validation by expert judgment, the survey and the questionnaire were used as instruments. Obtaining as a result a positive rating for the design of the mobile application and its acceptance to accommodate what is reflected. In conclusion, the e-commerce mobile application was successfully designed, backed by expert judgment, so that Small and medium-sized enterprises can offer their products and generate income, as well as build customer loyalty.

At present, in the markets the process of determining the state of maturity of fruits is carried out by employees using only their criteria, since this method is very broad and tedious when carried out, for this the present investigation was developed, in improving the process of determining the state of maturity of fruits. The article exposes the development of a mobile application with Arduino, based on Scrum, to improve the determination of the state of maturity of fruits in markets. Resorting to the use of pure experimental design with a sample of 30 data for each indicator. The results indicate that the margin of error when determining the resistances of the fruit with the application with respect to the multimeter was 4.73 percent and in determining the color of the fruit with respect to the sensor was 6.09 percent. This research proposes a digital platform based on geomarketing as a growth and support strategy for MSEs, with the objective of improving their labor and capital productivity, through the incorporation of the technological factor, which will have a great impact on them, helping them to continue operating and not having to close their businesses. The platform was developed under the agile Scrum methodology because it is adaptable to the constant changes in the mobile application development process, having as indicators labor productivity and capital productivity. Finally, the results revealed that labor productivity increased by 30.86 percent, meaning that, for every hour worked per person, more sales were made. Citizen insecurity is a social problem that has increased considerably around the world. To comba... more Citizen insecurity is a social problem that has increased considerably around the world. To combat it, in this research a mobile application based on IOT has been developed with the objective of mapping crimes and incident alerts to improve citizen security. Scrum methodology was used and a significant improvement can be seen with respect to the following indicators: number of reports of dangerous places, with an increase of 102.7%; the second indicator: number of reports by type of crime, with an increase of 25.34%; and the indicator: response time to attention, with an increase of 23.5%. It is determined that there is a significant positive influence of the mobile application developed to improve citizen security.

The objective of this research was to influence the learning process of Geometric Solids through the use of a mobile application. The development of the application was proposed under the Mobile-D methodology and the name “ARmetry” was proposed. The experimental design of the quasi-experimental type was also chosen, where the population to be studied was 140 students and the sample was two sections of the morning shift, 70 students for the sample in total. Finally, it is concluded that using a mobile application with Augmented Reality positively influences the learning process in Geometric Solids.

As a result, some information is ignored, making it difficult to make effective business decisions and optimal analysis for good strategic planning. This paper shows the development of a business intelligence tool that uses Ralph Kimball’s methodology for decision making and determines the influence he has on decision making. Using the experimental design, the sample consists of 30 decision-making processes (experimental group) for pre-test and post-test. The results show an 82.10% reduction in time, a 23.57% increase in reliability, a 59.19% reduction in losses, and a 17.93% increase in accuracy rating compared to at the post-test, applied to the experimental group.

In recent years, Malignant Melanoma Cancer has caused an increased exponential in human diseases,... more In recent years, Malignant Melanoma Cancer has caused an increased exponential in human diseases, for this reason, it is essential to detect it from its early stages. Deep Learning is one of the most applied technologies for the analysis of images oriented to medicine, facilitating the diagnosis of diseases in patients, allowing them to make accurate decisions about their health. In this paper, we propose a convolutional neural network architecture derived from the evaluation of different convolutional neural networks that meet the objective of obtaining more pressure on the information of the acquired image. The model for the problem is based on a binary distribution, 1 in case of malignant and 0 for benign, so that melanoma can be detected early and is very useful, for this we used 2 different datasets with a total of 2650 images for training the architecture. Finally, a comparison of the results obtained in other research has been made, where the metrics of our project are considerably improved by having 3 layers. This new architecture is a proposed solution for the optimization of training and validation of images.

Today, part of the world's population has an impairment in speaking or being able to communicate ... more Today, part of the world's population has an impairment in speaking or being able to communicate normally in their daily lives. In addition, a large percentage of those affected are children. Technology and computers play an important role in these types of problems that many people suffer from. Therefore, the use of speech therapy applications or systems helps the child to reduce treatment time. The research aims to identify the best computer tools and technologies and how they influence the evolution of speech therapy for children with speech disorders or speech problems. For the research, a bibliographic review was conducted in different databases such as IEEE Xplore, Scopus, Google Scholar and ScienceDirect where 49 scientific articles were collected from 2005-2020. Likewise, key words were used to carry out a search corresponding to our topic of study, thanks to which we were able to collect the necessary amount of information to nourish the question posed. Finally, it was demonstrated that the use of mobile applications with a videogame-related subject matter is able to maintain the infant's active practice of speech therapy, reducing its treatment by up to half the time.

Due to the increase in air pollution, especially in Latin American countries of low and middle in... more Due to the increase in air pollution, especially in Latin American countries of low and middle income, great environmental and health risks have been generated, highlighting that there is more pollution in closed environments. Given this problem, it has been proposed to develop a system based on free hardware for monitoring air quality and CO2, in order to reduce the levels of air pollution in a closed environment, improving the quality of life of people and contributing to the awareness of the damage caused to the environment by the hand of man himself. The system is based on V-Model, complemented with a ventilation prototype implemented with sensors and an application for its respective monitoring. The sample collected in the present investigation was non-probabilistic, derived from the reports of air indicators during 15 days with specific schedules of 9am, 1pm and 6pm. The results obtained indicated that the air quality decreased to 670 ppm, as well as the collection time decreased to 5 seconds and finally the presence of CO2 was reduced to 650 ppm after the implementation of the system, achieving to be within the standards recommended by the World Health Organization.

Technological advances make more and more companies transform their manual processes into automat... more Technological advances make more and more companies transform their manual processes into automated processes, increasing the speed and efficiency of their operations. That is the reason for this research, to test the benefits of automating the administrative processes of the Nuevavista condominium under study located in Peru, focusing on the management of reservations and incidents through the development of a mobile application following the mobile-d methodology. The article resorts to the use of a pre-experimental design with a sample of 279 for each process. The results indicate a 71% reduction in the time to register common area reservations and 69% in the time to register incidents, as well as a reduction in the number of people involved in both processes, which used to be two to four people, to one person, and finally, satisfaction levels were raised from 2 to 5 for the management of reservations and incidents.

Crime is a social problem that after the confinement of COVID-19 has increased significantly worl... more Crime is a social problem that after the confinement of COVID-19 has increased significantly worldwide, which is why it is important to know what technological tools can be used to prevent criminal acts. In the present work, a systemic analysis was carried out to determine the importance of how to prevent crime using new information technologies. Fifty research articles were selected between 2015 and 2021. The information was obtained from different databases such as IEEE Xplore, Redalyc, Scopus, SciELO and Medline. Keywords were used to delimit the search and be more precise in our inquiry on the web. The results obtained show specific information on how to prevent crime using new information technologies. We conclude that new information technologies help to prevent crime since several developed countries have implemented their security system effectively, while underdeveloped countries do not have adequate technologies to prevent crime.

This document presents a systematic review of the literature on the impact of information technologies to measure the level of burnout syndrome. We reviewed 65 articles from the period 2015-2020 on Burnout syndrome with indicators like causes, consequences and treatments from the databases IEEE Xplore, Sciencedirect, SpringerLink and Proquest.
