In this study, an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) flat gain power amplifier which has 434 MHz centre f... more In this study, an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) flat gain power amplifier which has 434 MHz centre frequency and 12 MHz bandwidth frequency is designed. The main purpose of the work is to design and obtain flat scattering parameters and the other figure of merit at these frequency values. Approximately 4 MHz flatness from 432 MHz to 436 MHz at gain characteristics has been obtained by using Microwave Office AWRP (Applied Wave Research Program) supported by National Instruments. Limitation borders have been put to the graph and other optimization techniques are used on the program so that the gain graph becomes flat along 4 MHz at the peak side. Efficiency and linearity are also examined but the flatness is the main object for this project.

In a passive millimeter wave imaging (PMMWI), there is no outgoing wave from the antenna of PMMWI... more In a passive millimeter wave imaging (PMMWI), there is no outgoing wave from the antenna of PMMWI system unlike the RAdio Detection And Ranging (RADAR). Antenna is only used to measure incoming waves which are coming from the all things because of being more than 0 Kelvin temperature or being non-blackbody. Radiation of the wall and the glass are different in a building; as a result, the PMMWI system can image the building with a good resolution to distinct the wall and glass. It can also image the gun that is under the cloth thanks to radiation difference. These systems utilize Planck, Wien and Rayleigh-Jeans Theories to view the images which are scanned in azimuth and elevation axis by PMMWI system through its antenna. In this work, the Planck, Wien and Rayleigh-Jeans Theories are analyzed and their formulas are run on MatLab Program with different temperatures for frequency or wave length at x-axis and for spectral radiance at y-axis.

In this article, band pass filter was designed using the Golden Ratio Rule which is in the Nature... more In this article, band pass filter was designed using the Golden Ratio Rule which is in the Nature. While designing the filters, iron metal plates were used and the dimension and localization of shapes in the plates were formed with the Golden Ratio Rule. It is showed that the Golden Ratio Rule can also be used in electromagnetics discipline as well as mathematics, architecture and art. Thanks to this rule, lots of good results can be achieved according to the researching area.

Ard na dü ülen temel soru(n); küreselle menin gerçekte iddia edildi i gibi modernli in yerine ikame olunan yeni bir süreç midir? Yoksa modernitenin ve kapitalizmin farkl bir evresi midir? Çünkü günümüz dünyas tarihin hiçbir döneminde olmad kadar h zl bir de im ve dönü ümden geçmekte; bir yandan zamansal ve mekânsal mefhumlar kaybolurken di er yandan farkl klar ve yerellikler türde le mektedir. Bu süreçleri anlamak için öncelikle içinde bulundu umuz 'yeni dünya düzeni'nin ekonomi-politi ini iyi çözümlememiz ve küreselle menin gerçekte ne oldu u sorusuna cevap bulmam z gerekiyor. Bu cevap aray nda edindi imiz izlenim ve ayn zamanda bu makalenin de temel tezini olu turan sonuç, küreselle menin; özünde sermaye ve emek aras nda gerçekle en bir mücadele alan /süreci oldu u, bu mücadele sürecinin kökeninde rekabetçi kapitalizmin yatt , sosyal devlete, s fsal yap ya ve örgütlü topluma kar bir ideoloji içerdi i ve bu ideolojinin de neo-liberalizm taraf ndan temsil edildi idir.

This study aimed to determine the seroprevalence of HBV and HDV in our hospital by examining the ... more This study aimed to determine the seroprevalence of HBV and HDV in our hospital by examining the test results of HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HDV and HDV-Ag. Test results were evaluated retrospectively from the sera which obtained from patients admitted to hospital with suspected hepatitis in Inonu University Faculty of Medicine, 2012. The presence of HBsAg and anti-HBs in sera was investigated by using the macro ELISA Abbot-Architect i2000 system test kits, the presence of anti-HDV and HDV-Ag was investigated by micro-ELISA (Alisei, Seac Radim Comp. Rome, Italy) method. 14 522 sera were studied. 2093 (14%) of them were positive for HBsAg and 6758 (47%) were positive for anti-HBs. Among HBsAg positive sera; 316 (15%) were positive for anti-HDV and 6 (0.3%) were positive for HDV-Ag. During HBV and HDV infections considering the complications, financial aspects of cases treatment; vaccination against HBV, preventive measures and education should be given priority issues.
