According to the reports published in the paper Policy in education for the pupils in risk situat... more According to the reports published in the paper Policy in education for the pupils in risk situations also for those with disabilities from Southeast Europe of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the number of children with special educational needs (SEN) is very large in the whole country. Children with SEN have requirements that mainly derive from the mental, physical, sensory, language, emotional and behavioural deficiencies or are associated with, regardless of their severity. The chosen theme is of real interest, given the complexity of the term "educational needs/special education" and the importance of acquiring/maintaining a correct posture of the body that can be affected by various temporary or permanent physical or psycho-sensory dysfunctions determining states of infirmity, disability, handicap or invalidity. In this paper, we focused our attention on the body posture of these children, more precisely on the existing spine deficiencies. The aim of the work is to create a database on the incidence of the spine deficiencies in children with SEN or with mental deficiency. We intend to verify if, in the conditions of preparation and application of a well-structured assessment protocol, the results on the incidence of the spine deficiencies in children with SEN/mental disabilities highlight a concrete reality on these issues. The results can provide a real database that can be used later for various purposes.

The present work wants to highlight the influence of sports disciplines (aerobics, table tennis) on some aspects of the psychomotricity of students from the University of Bucharest, materialized through statistically significant differences at the level of running speed and agility and strength tests within the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Second Edition (BOT-2). The experimental method: We used, for the first time in Romania in young students, the improved version of Bruininks-Oseretsky Test (BOT-2), which aims at evaluating a wide range of motor skills in subjects between the ages of 4 and 21. For this study, from the total of eight subtests specific to motor areas, we opted for the running speed and agility and strength subtests. It is known that strength, speed and agility are important components involved in motor performance of daily activities, not only in sports activities. Based on the information provided by the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test (BOT-2), we could do an analysis of the relationship between motor proficiency age and chronological age in young students. Methods used: Statistical and mathematical method, graphical method. Psychomotricity is of major importance for the physical education field and not only, and it offers the youth, through a systematic and correct approach to its inner components, a favourable climate for an efficient adjustment to the requirements of the social and academic environments.

In the present study we aim at identifying the extent to which young people, students at the University of Bucharest, are affected by these "diseases" and to establish a relationship between participation in physical education classes and the perceived stress and lifestyle of these socio-professional categories. The findings of our research come to strengthen other research conclusions on the same topic, namely that sports practiced in an organized way, led by a specialist in a pleasant environment, with efficient means, adapted to the particularities of the subjects' age, is an extremely useful "weapon" in fighting stress and a sedentary lifestyle.

So, we have estimated that this application will have a beneficial effect of training the dancers, helping them to learn the figures and the necessary technique to realize them. We have also started from the premise that it will be a tool for the dance instructors, trainers and choreographers, to whom will facilitate the selection of the dance figures and the construction of the choreography. It will create a common language and a unique evaluating system of the dancers, by the judges, during the competitions. It will allow to all the people involved...

The pandemic generated by Covid 19 deprived the dance sport of everything that meant a specific competitive context: zonal, national, international competitions, the joy of all categories of participants, from children to seniors, to meet on the dance floor, the emotion in the stands of parents and supporters of the competitors and, especially, the special show that almost no other sport offers during sporting events. It was obvious to everyone involved in Romanian dance sports (and not only) that all the restrictions imposed by the pandemic will limit the specific activity for an indefinite period, so a group of IT specialists, specialists in managing the organization of dance sports competitions sought and they found solutions to survive of the phenomenon called dance sports. Thus, by involving the abo...

The number of physical education lessons provided in the curricula of the non profile faculties is 1/a week for the first two years of study, as optional subjects. The approach of sports dance in physical education lessons involves the establishment of the themes which exclusively aim the initiation into this sport, with the compliance of all the teaching principles and the methodological requirements. The dance lesson with students lasts 100 minutes, from which 25 minutes represent the first part of "general warming" with "harmonious physical development", which included the study of classical dance, while the themes from sports dance are allocated 60 minutes. Regarding the training methods used to acquire the specific content of dance in physical education...

These directions vary, depending on the choices taken every day by the people, regardless of age, sex, cultural level or spiritual orientations." [2]. Nowadays the concept lifestyle is frequently used, being considered the model of the physical, social and mental behavior of the subject, for personal development, for expressing and maintaing the competence and identity. Purpose: In the present study, concerning the lifestyle, we proposed to identify the positive and negative behavioral options, for adopting the necessary measures to keep and optimize the health. Hypothesis: The students from the University of Bucharest enrolled in the Physical Education courses value higher this type of activity, this being reflected in their behavior closer to "a healthy lifestyle". Methods of research: bibliographical study, questionnaire-based method, statistical and mathematical method and graphical method. Results: Among the lifestyle factors that adversely affect the health of students, we observed: failure to respect a rational meal program; insufficient sleep duration; improper hydration; physical activity rather low; smoking, alcohol consumption. Conclusions: We subscribe to the idea that lifestyle is part of the wider concept of health, which leads to the subconcept of "healthy lifestyle", as a model of the behavior to promote health and prevent illness. Even though the proportion of students who adopt the behavior closer to the concept of "healthy lifestyle" is higher among those enrolled in Physical Education courses, it remains primary the recommendation of sports activities such as "behavioral patterns" viable for anyone who wants to improve his/her lifestyle.

Henri Ford Abstract: "Learning style" is an expression used to describe individual differences in the way that people prefer to learn. In fact, learning styles are particular individual settings to approach learning situations, to process information. It is stated that when an individual's learning preferences are met, the students learn more easily and effectively. Learning style information is a very important tool both for teachers, students and parents, and the emphasis should be placed on how to learn to adapt to learning situations and on enhancing learning and teaching effectiveness.

The main research method used was the questionnaire survey assessing seven dimensions of the quality of life and covering the following major areas: physical well-being, psychological well-being, moods and emotions, self-perception, autonomy, social and family/ colleague support, academic environment. The sample was composed of 205 students, of which 120 participants in the physical education lessons. We also aim in this paper to highlight the higher perception of the quality of life in young people who attend physical education classes, as a result of the positive valorization of this activity and the awareness of its importance in forming a healthy lifestyle. These opinions are positively correlated with the manifestation at higher rates of some psychomotor ab...

The need to improve the self-image, the necessities of superior socializing and relating underlie the students option to enroll in the dance course, are estimated as sine qua non conditions for personal and socio-professional success. In our study have participated, as volunteers, 120 students from the University of Bucharest, divided into two groups: A: 60 students enrolled in the dance course; B: 60 students enrolled in the table tennis and basketball courses. By applying the SM1 questionnaire we investigated the hierarchic motivational structure of the students who were interviewed. We can say that the vision of the investigated subjects, their orientation towards practicing dance could be related to the satisfaction of those needs which they consider important to their personal and ...
