In this paper, a block-based reconfigurable FIR filter is proposed using Distributed Arithmetic (DA) Technique. The complexity of the conventional multiplier is replaced with the DA multiplication process and the throughput of the entire filter is increased by block processing. Memory reuse is also achieved in the proposed direct form systolic FIR filter architecture due to parallel processing. The different bandwidth filters and the corresponding coefficients are stored in the LUTs concerning different channels of the digital channelizer. The proper channel selection is used to choose an appropriate filter and partial products are generated using Offset Binary Coding (OBC). Next, the multiplication process is done by the proposed decomposed LUT-based DA technique in the processing blocks of the filter. The proposed fil...

Nowadays, the development of health care systems and infrastructure is one of the most demanding and convincing goals. The monitoring and supervision of patients which has been carried out are often executed manually. This paper provides patient monitoring, tracking and localization through wireless sensor networks. We proposed a novel hybrid localization method based on Time Difference of Arrival and Lagrangian multiplier to locate the position of sensor which provides patient localization for Health Care Support. This system performs the localization out of samples of Time Difference of Arrival, tracking and monitoring module based on accelerometer and low pass filter with oversampling algorithm. Localization is the essential research problem in WSNs. In this paper, I have projected Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) and improved Distance vector (DV) localization algorithms for accurate position estimation. The localization error is premeditated for a diverse range of anchor population, communication range and degree of irregularity (DOI). In the simulation, I compare these two localization algorithms and the result shows that the performance of improved DV-Hop algorithm has high position accuracy as compared to the RSSI algorithm.

While most people are blessed with the ability to do so, a few unfortunate ones face a lot of problems, and have to go through life while being assisted in some way or the other by people around them. The main inspiration behind this idea is to minimize the dependability of the visually impaired people, so as to help them move around a little bit easily than usual. This paper proposes a model and a system to navigate through unknown roads with safety and also provides an option of storing the user's location into a cloud for tracking purpose, which could also fight the problem of human trafficking.

The utmost challenging aspect in WSNs is defining the location of each sensor node, i.e., localization. This paper proposes a localization algorithm by means of Least Square (LS) and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) for with and without obstacle that enhances the fundamental DV-Hop algorithm dramatically. The localization error using the proposed algorithm is calculated and compared with basic DV-Hop, ROCRSSI and APIT. The average localization error for various anchor populations is also compared with Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI). The proposed algorithm gives better results for localization estimation even in lesser amount of beacons.

This technique becomes a solution to power energy-constrained wireless networks. Whereas, the energy-constrained wireless networks, have a limited lifetime which largely confines the network performance. In contrast, an RF energy harvesting network (RF-EHN) has a power supply. This paper therefore discuss the RF energy harvesting capability that allows the wireless devices to harvest energy from RF signals for processing and also can be transmitting the signal. The increasing demand of RF energy harvesting has introduced commercialized products, like (Power caster and Cota system). This paper proposes a Genetic algorithm based Multi coil (MC) optimization technique to optimize the circuit design of a WPT system.

Given that it will be shown that the principles governing peacekeeping are derived from general international law, there must be a presumption against there being a self-referential legal order, but the possibility that there has been a significant development of specific principles and rules will be explored. Moreover, this development may have occurred to such an extent that although the original source may remain in international law, a separate legal order has emerged. If the norms of that legal order no longer reflect the wider principles of international law then concerns revolve not only around fragmentation of international law, but also around the continuing compatibility of peacekeeping with international law.

Within the first version, a noise is introduced via so-called independence, whereas in the second version anticonformity plays the role of a noise, which destroys the order. The modified Watts threshold model, studied here, is homogeneous and posses an up-down symmetry, which makes it similar to other binary opinion models with a single-flip dynamics, such as the majority-vote and the q-voter models. Because within the majority-vote model with independence only continuous phase transitions are observed, whereas within the q-voter model with independence also discontinuous phase transitions are possible, we ask the question about the factor, which could be responsible for discontinuity of the order parameter. We investigate the model via the mean-field approach, which gives the exact result in the case of a complete graph, as well as via Monte Carlo simulations. Additionally, we provide a heuristic reasoning, which explains observed phenomena. We show that indeed, if the threshold r = 0.5, which corresponds to the majority-vote model, an order-disorder transition is continuous. Moreover, results obtained for both versions of the model (one with independence and the second one with anticonformity) give the same results, only rescaled by the factor of 2. However, for r > 0.5 the jump of the order parameter and the hysteresis is observed for the model with independence, and both versions of the model give qualitatively different results.

The existing IH-MAC protocol utilizes both CSMA and TDMA approaches with the concepts of broadcast scheduling and link scheduling. The Improved Intelligent Hybrid Multiple Access Control approach involves the utilization of the strengths of Q-MAC and Z-MAC protocols to reduce the energy consumption by controlling the transmission power of the various nodes in a wireless sensor network. Furthermore, in this paper, the concept of parallel transmission is being supported by the `2-hop neighbor identification' mechanism in order to reduce delay. Moreover, the simulation and analytical turnouts validate the theoretical idea and evince the enhanced efficiency of the proposed protocol.
