E-mail Certificates (EC's) are issued primarily for the purpose of signing and encrypting e-mail messages. E-mail clients use sender's E-mail Certificate (Private Key) for signing and recipient's E-mail Certificate (Public Key) for encrypting an e-mail message. This paper proposes inclusion of multiple e-mail addresses in E-mail Certificates and puts forward modified procedure to allow e-mail clients to use a single E-mail Certificate of an individual for different e-mail addresses to sign and encrypt e-mail messages. Further, it discusses generation of multiple e-mail address certificates and demonstrates their working using an e-mail client developed for the said purpose.

This paper deliberates upon the applications of e-learning and its current practice in engineering education. It reports results of a survey conducted to examine adoption of ICT and e-learning tools in engineering institutions of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The results are discussed in light of relevant research to suggest recommendations for improving e-learning implementations in engineering education. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.

However, there are several challenges associated with designing highly secure and usable CAPTCHA tests. These include challenges to implement, maintain, and upgrade CAPTCHA tests individually for each web application. In addition to these, accessibility to multilingual and non-English web applications is lowered by the use of English language CAPTCHA challenges. Therefore, such challenges in multiple languages or use of language neutral CAPTCHA challenges is highly desired. This paper proposes and discusses service framework for Multilingual Human Interaction Proof (MHIP) that can be used to protect diverse government, corporate and private services/resources offered online in one or more languages besides English language from unauthorized access. The service can be offered at government level to make web applications highly secure against attacks from bots without need of implementing, maintaining, and upgrading CAPTCHA challenges by individual applications. Successful experiments through a model implementation of the proposed framework for Indian Regional CAPTCHA Service named IN-CAPTCHA has validated the working and efficiency of the proposed services framework.
