In this paper SURF i.e., Speeded Up Robust Features technique is used in order to identify a person in a group photograph. First of all the SURF features are detected. 100 feature points from test image and 300 from the group photograph were selected. The feature points were then extracted and finally were matched. If a number of features matches then the system identifies the person in the group photograph and a bounding box was made around the identified person. The test image taken was the cropped face of a person from the group photograph. Our work was under illumination variation. Histogram equalization was done in order to remove the illumination variation.

In this paper the dimensional reduction has been done in order to reduce the dimensions of the image using principal component analysis. To do this first the eigen values and then the eigenvectors was found and then the recognition process was started. The test image was compared with the database images. A threshold value was set in order to find if there is a match of the test image in the database. If there was a match, it displayed the details i.e., name, course and enrollment number of the person in the test image. If no match founds it showed no match found.

This paper presents the system design of a semi-autonomous multifunctional robot and its application in solving problems. This system is capable of detecting intruder, avoiding obstacles, following light, path-finding, navigational mapping and a wide range temperature sensing. The whole system integrates stability, security, communication and detection mechanism to solve one or more problems

This paper addresses the problem of detecting faces in color images in the presence of various lighting conditions. In this paper the face is preprocessed using histogram equalization to avoid illumination problems and then is detected using skin segmentation method. The facial features are then extracted and recognized using principal component analysis using neural network. The dimensionality of the image is reduced by using PCA and then the image is recognized using neural network.

The objective of the study is to assess the renal functions in neonates admitted with dehydration. Methodology: A prospective study on term neonates with clinical features of dehydration and weight loss of >10% after birth, admitted in OUTBORN NICU of Balchikitsalaya, R.N.T. Medical college, Udaipur for a period of 24 months from July 2015 to June 2017. Sick neonates with congenital abnormalities, birth asphyxia, sepsis were excluded. Ethical clearance and consent were taken. Results: The study population constituted 272 neonates with dehydration. Most neonates with dehydration 250 (91.9%) were admitted between day three to fourteen after birth. Mean weight loss after birth was 14.92%. Hypernatremia was observed in 156 (57.4%) neonates; 86 (31.6%) had hyperkalemia; 242 (88.9%) had high blood urea levels; 202 (74.3%) had high creatinine levels at admission; 23.5% neo...
