Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that serves as a pioneer in providing heal... more Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that serves as a pioneer in providing healthier crops, controlling insect pests, monitoring soil and growing conditions, organizing immense data for farmers in the agricultural field through the use of computer-based algorithms for crop improvement. The present-day AI-based equipment and machines including irrigation controller, graphics processing unit, image segmentation algorithm, disease detection and nutrition status ease the complexity in agriculture. This has taken today's agriculture system to a different level through improved realtime monitoring, harvesting, processing and marketing for efficient crop production. The biggest turn points of agriculture based on AI tools facilitate the wide range of agriculture-related tasks in a coherent manner. In this chapter, we aim to provide in-depth knowledge of AI-based machines useful in irrigation, weeding and conducting plant phenomics and disease analysis to optimize the production and operation processes in the agriculture field.
