This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, leadership, and work climate on employee p... more This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation, leadership, and work climate on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data sourced from 284 respondents obtained by survey techniques using a questionnaire. The data is analyzed with a Path Analysis approaches helped by SmartPLS. The results of this study indicate that compensation, leadership and organizational climate directly affect Job Satisfaction. Compensation and leadership also have a direct influence on employee performance, but the work climate has no effect on employee performance. Compensation, leadership and work climate have a direct effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction only acts as a mediating variable on the effect of compensation on employee performance.

The object of this research is Senior High Schools (SMA)/Vocational Secondary School (SMK), while the subjects are 55 School Principals. Four variables from the research data were gathered through instruments in the form of valid and reliable questionnaires. Statistical Analysis of the research data used multiple linear regression analysis with the significance in accordance with the output of SPSS 22.0. Findings indicated that organizational culture has an effect but not significant on job satisfaction, while communication has a significant effect on job satisfaction, and leadership style has a significant effect on job satisfaction, the simultaneous variable of organizational culture, communication and leadership style has a significant effect on job satisfaction.

The implementation of academic supervision needs to be carried out systematically by the principal, aiming to provide guidance to teachers so that they can carry out their duties effectively and efficiently. The implementation of supervision is not to find fault with the teacher but the implementation of supervision is basically the process of providing assistance services to teachers to improve the teaching and learning process conducted by teachers in improving the quality of learning outcomes. Planned, systematic and directed academic supervision is expected to improve teacher quality. The realization of these goals is not an easy thing. This is because the actualization of the teacher's ability depends on various components of the education system that collaborate with each other. And of course the role of the principal as a supervisor in the school where his assignment must be maximized.
