The Julius Caesar's expedition he'd been failing, because the Ircinia forest was impenetrable. Consoli examines the reasons of the authors, Caesar and Tacitus, in their respective works: the 'De bello Gallico' and the 'Germania' .

Biomass as a renewable source of energy has been of the great interest especially in the last decade. Hydrogen as a clean fuel can take a significant role in providing a better environment and sustainable development. Supercritical water gasification (SCWG) is a promising technology for hydrogen production from organic wastes. In this study, the effects of reaction time on gas yield, gas composition and carbon gasification efficiency (CGE) were investigated. Experiments were carried out in a batch stainless steel 316 reactor at the temperature of 400 °C and feed concentration of 9 wt%. Sugarcane bagasse was partially gasified in supercritical water (SCW) and a gas containing hydrogen, methane, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide was produced. CGE of 18.7% was achieved after 105 minutes of reaction time. Increase in pressure up to 45 MPa could not improve the gasification efficiency. Higher gasification efficiency could be achieved by either catalyst or higher temperature.

His plot of Chryses is the perfect demonstration of this, because it represents a philosophical diatribe about the bearing of the goddess Fortuna on human events. Moreover the dramatist recalls the ruin of Orestes so as to deprecate human temerity and to preach self-control. For this reason the fragments of Chryses appeal to important literary critics (e.g. Argenio, Valsa, D’Anna, Marx, Calboli, Artigas), who would like to reconstruct the plot. But the plot of Chryses is not reconstructable without examining closely the Hyginus's fabulae n. 120 and 121 that tell the story of the tormented Orestes, culprit of matricide. The communicative message that Pacuvius gives with the plot of Chryses is very philosophical and pedagogic. Also his choice for the negative model of Orestes reveals his rationalism and his accordance with the circle of Scipio and the rules of Roman R...

A good grasp of the reason why Orestes is a matricide requires the reconstruction of plots, where he needs purification.
The Greek and Roman dramatic poets denounce by Orestes’s mask the Delphic oracle, the superstitious beliefs and the despotism of potentates.

Actually, the work – created in order to give a vademecum to both tutors and young people, such as Pirro Castriota in his training age – shows a system of educative priciples inspired to the classical belief and to the School of Athens' philosophical knowledge. Galateo - against the background of Ferdinand of Aragon's affairs, duke of Calabria, and of the questionable spanish customs which threatened the Italian mos – professed his civic belief. He has been able to pass a classical deontologic heritage, with the aim of taking back Greek culture's values, that were specific to the whole Japigia and to the joyous Sallentum, crucible and paradigm of civilisation for the Italian population.
