However, there is a tendency to forget the feelings of caregivers about this theme. The objective of our study is to evaluate doctors feelings and the difficulties during the announcement of deaths. Methods: A qualitative, exploratory study involving 34 doctors exercising at the pediatric center of the Mohammed VI university hospital in Marrakesh. To explore doctors' experiences in providing care, their emotional reactions to the patient's death, and their use of coping and social resources to manage their emotions. Results: An amount of doctors reported death between 5 to 10 times in 35.3% and between 10 to 20 times in 26.4%; 41.2% of the cases reported a feeling of sadness during the notification, 29.4% felt dizzy and 29.4% revealed a stress. Twenty-one doctors had felt the need of support and a psychologist consultation to talk and express themselves. A percentage of 97% of physicians said they had never received any training on the death notification and felt that training in this sense was useful and necessary. Conclusion: notification of death remains a difficult test, it requires preparation as well as learning by training especially when it comes to announcing the death of a child.

Bacteremia and clinical sepsis may occur. Children with pyelonephritis also may have cystitis. Long-term complications of pyelonephritis are hypertension and impaired end-stage renal disease. The voiding symptoms of cystitis are usually transient, clearing within 24-48 h of effective treatment. Long-term complications of UTI are caused by renal damage secondary to pyelonephritis. [4] UTI are almost always ascending in origin and caused by bacteria in the periurethral flora and the distal urethra. These bacteria inhabit the distal gastrointestinal tract and colonize the perineal area. Escherichia coli usually cause a child's first infection (were responsible for more than 90% of cases of acute pyelonephritis in infants and children), but other gram-negative bacilli and enterococci may also cause infection. More rarely, the urinary tract may be colonized during systemic bacteremia (sepsis), this usually happens in infancy. [5] Negative microscopic findings for bacteria do not rule out a UTI, nor do negative results of dipstick testing for nitrite and leukocyte esterase. [6] InTRoDuCTIon UTI is defined as significant bacteriuria irrespective of the site of infection in the urinary tract. [1] The exact rate of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in newborns is not known, but studies have found that from about 1 in 1000 to 1 in 100 in full-term infants, and up to 1 in 10 premature infants, will have a UTI during the first month of life. [2] Most newborns and young infants present with symptoms of UTI and not asymptomatic bacteriuria. The higher incidence of UTI among male infants persists for the first 3-4 months of life, but thereafter the incidence and prevalence of UTI are considerably higher in females compared with males.

Various imaging studies and angiography showed that the portal vein entered into the inferior vena cava just above the renal veins. The clinical and radiological features of this patient and nine previously reported

The integumentary system may be similarly affected. The cutaneous manifestations in COVID-19 are largely unknown but case reports and studies will aid further understanding the association of COVID-19 disease progression and dermatological manifestations. Here we report two cases of patients, Hospitalized in pediatric department of Center hospital university of Mohamed VI, Marrakesh, Morocco presenting cutaneous eruptions after SARS-CoV-2 infection treated with chloroquine and azithromycin and literature review.

It is an uncommon situation that may lead to several neurological complications. We report varicella zoster virus (VZV) meningitis in a 14-year-old healthy boy with no antecedent of rash. On his cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) examination, VZV DNA was detected. The rapid HIV test was negative. The treatment using acyclovir (20 mg/kg/8h) was effective, and the child's clinical condition rapidly improved.

Its clinical presentation is highly variable and can range from isolated, self-healing skin and bone lesions to life-threatening multisystem disease. We report a new case of LH in a 2-year-old child with central diabetes insipidus with bilateral temporal bone involvement.
