The festival, which is an exploration of heritage, was specifically premeditated to celebrate the slave trade period by highlighting the unique connection of African American history to the diaspora ancestors who were literally taken away as slaves through “the point of no return” in Badagry, Nigeria. A structured questionnaire was utilized as a research instrument to gather information aimed at examining the influence of social media (SM), website quality (WQ), and online word of mouth (eWOM) on tourists’ festival satisfaction (FS) and festival revisiting intention (FRI). Data were gathered from samples of 473 diaspora tourists at Badagry Diaspora Festival in Nigeria and analyzed using partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of WarpPLS (7.0). The findings of the study...

There has been inbalance between Principals and agents. As a result, that has led to the incidents termed by economists as "Moral Hazards" in organizations. Furthermore, Moral Hazards have caused major failures of high-profiled MNCs leading, but not majorly, to the cause of the global financial crisis in 2008. This study constitutes Risk Management and Risk Management Process (RMP), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and its framework, Benefits of ERM framework in MNCs, some moral hazards incidents in Multinational Corporations (MNCs), and how the ERM framework can be used in combating these moral hazards. Poor corporate governance in these firms has said to have given room to illegal acts that are detrimental to the organization—profitwise and reputation-wise. These deficiencies have in addition to agency problems, given rooms to immoral acts leading to Moral H...

Nonetheless, the cost of training staffs in tertiary educational institutions is a critical sensation that restrains the conduct of training and developing them. This study seeks to carefully examine the impact of training and development on staff performance in tertiary educational institutions in Sierra Leone. The thrust for this theoretical research led to the retrieval of secondary sources published about the subject matter in order to structurally organize its content towards meaningful outcome. Analysis drawn from the retrieved information disclose to us that training can be conducted either on-the-job or off-the-job, which requires an assessment of the necessity of training which states the analysis of the organisation, person and task before an appropriate method could be selected. ...

The data overviewed, synthesized and overviewed in this work were secondary based obtained from the relevant work conducted in the area. The results from the different outcome of the previous work revealed that out of the forty to fifty years (1969-1978-2017) 21 years were assessed to have falls under drought conditions with a variable intensity. Similarly, among the 21 years of drought conditions fourteen years (14) were identified with high drought intensity (1979, 1983, 1986, 1987, 1990, 1991, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2013). Furthermore, 1990, 2002, 2006, 2008 and 2013 (five years) were quantified as very high drought intensity. The unprecedented seasonal drought with an extreme condition was found in the year 1987, 2002 and 2006 having a minimum amount of rainfall (678.7mm, 656.4mm a...

This study therefore seeks to investigate the void that exists in the literature of tourism and entrepreneurship through a designed conceptual research model to examine the relationships between tourism and entrepreneurship through questionnaire and to highlight their contribution to the tourism relevant literature. Data from entrepreneurship organizations and tourism firms were collected from employees that deal with visitors in Ghana to analyze the results. The findings propose that the digital word of mouth plays important role in destination market satisfaction, potential visitors’ intentions, attractions and the future direction of tourism and entrepreneurship capabilities.

Aims: The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of combined treatment (acupuncture, manipulative therapy, AMG) with manipulative therapy (MTG) and standard physiotherapy (STG) alone based on Flyn et al.'s clinical prediction rule (CPR). Methods: Eighty-one participants with disorders of lower back pain and Sacroiliac joint (SIJ) were randomised into the 3 treatment groups. Outcome measures of pain intensity, functional disability and quality of life were carried out at baseline, after 6 weeks of treatment and at 3-month follow up. Participants were treated according to the treatment in the group to which they are randomised. Results: Participants in the AMG showed grater improvement than the others after six weeks of treatment. Paired t – test showed significant difference (t = 3.142, P = 0.004) in the mean percentage improvement between those who met the CPR (64.39 (13.0)) and those who did not (49.44 (7.89)). In the AMG, 21 (77.8%) participants recorded treatment success while 6 (22.2%) recorded treatment failure. One of the hip having more than 350 of internal rotation showed significant predictive value in association with treatment success (Wald test score = 37.887, P = 0.035 with an odd ratio value of 0.857). Conclusion: A combined treatment consisting of acupuncture, manipulative therapy and exercises will offer greater benefits to patients with lower back pain and SIJ disorders. The presence of at least 35 degrees of internal rotation in one of the hip joint is predictive factor of treatment success with manipulative therapy and acupuncture in patient with lower back and SIJ disorders.
