In this article we consider the ideologies that affect modern human life and smart architecture c... more In this article we consider the ideologies that affect modern human life and smart architecture contribution used as tools to enable those ideologies. It is considered that the technological impact on human life is undeniable but, as well as making use of the technology environment, consideration is really required. Therefore, this study explores the role of smart structures and materials to create new buildings with sustainable architecture. First, such terms as green architecture and sustainable architecture are identified. Then, using smart technology in buildings and what it would be like, are defined. Various smartness used in the buildings, their outcomes, performances and roles are evaluated. Smart buildings' role in sustainable architecture is explained.

In this paper, how to build a simple dome Geodesic is described in a simple word, which says the possibility of holding it in any space and with any little materials is possible. Geodesic domes offer us much architectural features, at the end of this article, a research center within this volume is designed by the author and the described manufacturing method-described in the paperhas been used for its construction.

Today, with the introduction of new structural systems to the construction industry, making the d... more Today, with the introduction of new structural systems to the construction industry, making the decision to use this new system is not easy. Due to the unique characteristics that each of the systems have and also with regard to the specific circumstances of each project, it might be possible that each of these systems find top priority to common structural systems of the country. In this article by using value engineering and scoring criteria tailored to each user and scoring structures (due to the specific characteristics of each structure) the way to choose the optimal structural system for every user and for every function is discussed. Finally, for hypothetical use, the College of Architecture, after processing, Space frame structure and the folded plate as optimized structure, was selected among other structures.
