In this study, the addition of different levels of SHIRBOT fish this material and its effect on biochemical parameters were evaluated. The 360 pieces of fish with an average weight of 35 grams randomly assigned to four treatments, they divided three replicates per treatment, and prebiotic treatments, respectively, with the fairy immunogenic concentrations of feed containing 0, .5/0, 1 and 1.5 grams immunogenic kg Hg, were fed for 84 days. Flukes cause severe and lethal diseases in various animals comprising fish. Both adult and larval... more Flukes cause severe and lethal diseases in various animals comprising fish. Both adult and larval stages are found in fish. Centrocestiasis is an infection of the fish gills by heterophyid trematode Centrocestus formosanus. In summer 2014, 35 fingerling grass carp and 30 common carp weight of 6 grams were referred to the veterinary hospital of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. In the wet mount of the skin, mild infection of trichodina was observed. Wet mount of grass carp gills revealed large number of parasitic cysts between gill filaments. The cysts were quite clear and contained pear-shaped parasites. In histopathological examination, filaments of gill were thick and distorted. According to the wet mount and histopathologic results, metacercariae was chracterised to belong to heterophyidae, C. formosanus.

Probiotics affect the intestinal microbial flora of fish and subsequently modulate its immune response and growth performance. OBJECTIVES: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of food supplementation with L.plantarum and L.bulgaricus on growth performance and gut microbiota of Cyprinus carpio. METHODS: For this purpose, 480 juveniles of C. carpio (40.2 ±6.3 gr Mean ±SD) were randomly divided into three equal groups (each group in three replicates) and fed with diet containing 5×107 cfu g_1 of Lactobacillus plantarum (group A), Lactobacillus bulgaricus (group B) and control diet (group C) for 60 days. The grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is a herbivorous, freshwater fish species of the family ... more The grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is a herbivorous, freshwater fish species of the family Cyprinidae, and the only species of the genus Ctenopharyngodon. Neoplasms in fishes are generally less aggressive than neoplasms in mammals and are most commonly discrete, focal and benign neoplasms. A 3-year-old grass carp with a big mass on the vertebrae was referred to the clinic. According to the owner’s statements, the fish had no signs of lethargy, ataxia and abnormal behaviors. The size of the mass was 7 × 6 × 6 cm. It cut hardly with audible sounds. The consistency of the mass was as hard as a cartilage. Microscopic examination revealed numerous irregular crests of hyaline cartilage beneath the skin. According to histopathologic characteristics, chondroma on the vertebrae of grass carp was diagnosed.

Two hundred and forty fish weighing 50-60 g were randomly subjected to four different treatment, including control, T1 (0.1% of Aloe vera), T2 (0.2%) and T3 (0.5%) in triplicate. Hematological parameters and some growth parameters, including the body weight, total length, condition factor, feed conversion ratio, feed efficiency, specific growth rate and protein efficiency ratio were measured. The present research aimed to determine acute toxicity and evaluate the effect of sub-lethal conc... more The present research aimed to determine acute toxicity and evaluate the effect of sub-lethal concentrations of diazinon on some haematological and immunological parameters of Barbus sharpeyi by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development methods. Juvenile B. sharpeyi were exposed to 0, 5%, 10% and 25% 96h LC50 concentrations of diazinon for 21 days. Blood samples were taken after 7, 14 and 21 days of exposure to diazinon. Haematological and biochemical parameters including: RBC, Hb, PCV and WBC, as well as serum enzymes were evaluated. Immunological indices and resistance against bacterial infection, were determined. Results showed that 96h LC50 of diazinon in B. sharpeyi was estimated at 3.987 mg/L. Diazinon toxicity at a level of 1 and 0.4 mg/L decreased RBC, Hb, and Hematocrite, in almost all sampling periods compared. Oocytes were isolated from the ovaries of female carp. Interstitial tissue was manually removed in order to obtain single oocytes surrounded only by the follicular envelope. Such a preparation was trypsinized at room temperature. Follicular cell suspension contained both cells and cell clumps. It was the mixture of theca (T) and granulosa (G) cells. The cells were grown as plemented with FBS. Culture media were analyzed for estrogen and progesterone content by appropriate radioimmunoassay. Six hundred and thirty juvenile Cyprinus carpio (weighing 58.5 ±4.2 g, Mean±SD) were randomly divided into seven equal groups in triplicates. Three groups (G1 to G3) were fed diets containing 0.1%, 0.25% and 0.5% of Propolis-ethanolic Extract (PEE) respectively, whereas groups 4 to 6 were fed a diet containing the same level of Propolis Aqueous Extract (PAE), group seven was received free extract normal food. Growth indices and hemato-immunological parameters in treated fish were evaluated and compared among the groups. In this study the silver nanoparticles were synthesized biologically using Sargassum angustifolium algae and its effects on blood factors of common carp in the face of three concentrations of nanoparticles (AgNPs) include 0.11, 1.13 and 5.67 mg/L of AgNPs, respectively on the basis of 1 % , 10 % and 50 % of median lethal concentration along with a control treatment were evaluated for 14 days. در این پژوهش خصوصیات مورفولوژی و بافت شناسی بیضه 20 ماهی کپور نقره‌ای در دو رده یا گروه سنی زیر د... more در این پژوهش خصوصیات مورفولوژی و بافت شناسی بیضه 20 ماهی کپور نقره‌ای در دو رده یا گروه سنی زیر دو سال و چهار سال مطالعه گردید. در گروه1: 10 ماهی با میانگین وزنی 66/0± 25/1 کیلوگرم و میانگینSD) ±)طول کل بدن 41/1±68/43 سانتیمتر و با حدود سنی 2 سال ، در گروه2: 10 ماهی کپور نقره‌ای نر با میانگین SD) ±)وزنی 52/0± 71/5 کیلوگرم و میانگین SD) ±)طول کل بدن 64/1 ±5/81 سانتیمتر و با حدود سنی 4 سال قرار گرفتند. میانگین SD) ±)وزن بیضه ماهیان گروه 1و2 نیز به ترتیب 47/1±34/2 و 81/25 ± 33/83 گرم و میانگینSD) ±)GSI 22/0± 19/0 و 97/4 ± 45/1 بود. از بیضه‌ها نمونه‌هایی به ضخامت حداکثر نیم سانتیمتر برداشت و پس از ثبوت در محلول بوئن و طی مراحل مختلف تهیه مقاطع بافتی، برش‌هایی به ضخامت 5 تا 6 میکرومتر تهیه و مورد رنگ آمیزی هماتوکسیلین- ائوزین وPAS قرار گرفتند.در مطالعات میکروسکوپی مشخص گردید که بیضه ماهی کپور نقره‌ای در هر دو گروه از نوع لوبولار (قطعه ای) و در داخل لوبول‌های بیضه ماهیان گروه 2 اسپرماتوژنز از نوع سیستیک یا کیسه‌ای می‌باشد. ولی در بیضه ماهیان گروه 1 هیچگونه فعالیت اسپرماتوژنزی مشاهد...

In this study, the effects of oral administration of an alcoholic and aqueous extract of propolis... more In this study, the effects of oral administration of an alcoholic and aqueous extract of propolis on growth performance indices, hematological parameters and immune responses of Cyprinus carpio were investigated. Six hundred and thirty juvenile Cyprinus carpio (weighing 58.5 ±4.2 g, Mean±SD) were randomly divided into seven equal groups in triplicates. Three groups (G1 to G3) were fed diets containing 0.1%, 0.25% and 0.5% of Propolis-ethanolic Extract (PEE) respectively, whereas groups 4 to 6 were fed a diet containing the same level of Propolis Aqueous Extract (PAE), group seven was received free extract normal food. Growth indices and hemato-immunological parameters in treated fish were evaluated and compared among the groups. The results showed a significant increase in serum lysozyme activity, total serum protein and globulin in fish fed diets containing 0.5% PEE compared to the control group (P<0.05). In this study the silver nanoparticles were synthesized biologically using Sargassum angustifolium algae and its effects on blood factors of common carp in the face of three concentrations of nanoparticles (AgNPs) include 0.11, 1.13 and 5.67 mg/L of AgNPs, respectively on the basis of 1 % , 10 % and 50 % of median lethal concentration along with a control treatment were evaluated for 14 days. Total white blood cell (WBC) count in the face of various concentrations of silver nanoparticles and red blood cell(RBC) count in the treatment of 1%LC50 AgNPs on days 1, 3 and 7 and Hematocrite treated with AgNPs 1% on day3 exhibited significantly increased when compared with other groups (p<0.05).
