Mel A. Kuntz is an Emeritus Geologist with the U. S. Geological Survey, Denver, CO. His current interests are the volcanic geology of the eastern Snake River Plain, potential volcanic hazards for proposed reactor facilities at the Idaho National Laboratory, and the volcanic and alluvial history of the Henrys Fork caldera.
