Even though each bit contains certain part of information of the image, different algorithms for edge detection of the image do not perform identically, which is proved on a practical example of this work. Research has been conducted via the analysis done on the individual level through the exact image, as well as through the extent of 350 images characteristic for digital transformation of image. Each result, based on structural similarity model (SSIM), is given using the extent of the details level that was observed.

Using DVB Calculator, the influence of modulation formats (QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK and 32APSK), FEC parameters, Roll-Off factors and Frame Length on Bit Rate and Symbol Rate of satellite transponder are analyzed. The table shows the Bit Rate for various DVB-S and DVB-S2 standard combinations.

Analytical expressions for the probability density function (PDF) and moment-generating function (MGF) are derived. The average bit error probability can be calculated by averaging the conditional bit error probability over the PDF or using the MGF-based approach. Numerical results are graphically presented to show the effects of macrodiversity, correlation, number of diversity branches, and severity of both fading and shadowing.

Na kraju je dat tabelarni pregled sa parametrima i realnim opterećenjem DVB-T/T2 multipleksa u Srbiji i zemljama u regionu.

The analysis results are presented graphically and in tables. Model analysis was performed through the conversion of primary images in the pictures with different edge detection, and analysis of images obtained through the above parameters and varying degrees of bits per pixel (bpp). The analysis shows that operators Pyramid and Roberts give much better results at lower levels of bpp, whilst, according to Entropy of image, best results are being given by Pyramid operator. The study is consisted of two parts: first analyzing the parameters PSNR, SNR and MSE through bpp and afterwards analyzing Entropy images and level of detail.

Image segmentation has a significant role in detecting regions of interest and extracting attributes and regions from those images. In this paper, five original grayscale abnormal MRI brain images have been processed by using image segmentation techniques for detecting and extracting regions of interest, in this case, tumors. This research described three methods of detection and extraction of tumors from abnormal MRI brain images in MATLAB: a method based on combined local threshold segmentation techniques with morphological operations for tumor detection; a method based on region splitting and merging segmentation techniques; and a method based on combined thresholding, Meyer's flooding watershed algorithm, as an image segmentation technique with morphological operations for tumor detection. Abnormal MRI brain images were preprocessed in order to obtain suitable results. Image data used in this research were obtained from Radiopedia, an educational radiology resource. The best method for detecting and extracting tumors has been determined by comparing the results of accuracy, sensitivity, F-measure, precision, MCC, dice, jaccard, and specificity. Based on the results of these measurements, it has been concluded and confirmed that the first and third methods are both equally good for detecting and extracting tumors.

An analysis was performed for three noise levels, 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1. Over 100 images from the BSD database were used for analysis and each image has a GroundTruth with which an objective assessment of the detected edges was performed using PR and F measures. Five edge detectors Canny, LoG, Sobel, Prewitt and Roberts operator were used. The results are presented graphically. The obtained results show that noise significantly affects the detection of edges. The complexity of the image was determined based on spatial information. Also, a new approach of estimating threshold for edge detection has been developed, which is based on the principles of machine learning, by applying grid search and random search. For analysis and testing, images with real scenes were used. This dataset was used to improve threshold estimation using the grid and random search methods. Based on the obtained results, it can be seen that the complexity significantly affects the edge detection, so with a low and medium number of details, the Roberts operator achieved good results. For images with a high number of details, the Canny operator has proven to be the best solution. New approach for estimate the threshold based on the grid search improves edge detection, especially with the Canny operator. Grid search-based method gives best results but it takes a lot of computational time. If computational time and the improvements obtained are taken into account, more effective optimization of the parameters for estimating threshold values is random search method.

The model of the system in which the experiment was realized is given. Different intensity of front and back light was used. The analysis of the front light of 200 lux, 800 lux and 1400 lux was done, while the back light changes in the range from 200 to 1400 lux. The characteristics of the analyzed images were clearly determined by their luminance histogram and parameters Mean, Median, and Standard Deviation. Chroma key effect parameters: Color Tolerance, Edge Thin and Edge Feather were used for the analysis. The results that are considered are tabulated and graphically based on the influence of light on the quality of the realization of the Chroma key effect.
