Coronavirus potentially severe acute respiratory infection caused by nCOVID-19 has been declared by pandemic on 11th March 2020 by Word health organisation (WHO). The previous study has reported high susceptibility of respiratory infection in the HCWs. The HCWs are at increased risk for severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus infection. The spread of coronavirus became global public health event, threatening physical and Mental Health of HCWs. This study reviews the possible risk factors for being infected HCWs and avoid transmission of infection at the workplace. Spreading the coronavirus day by day is the life-threatening condition for Health care workers during a pandemic. Cervical Radiculopathy (CR), a common cause due to nerve compression. CR occurs when one or more ... more Cervical Radiculopathy (CR), a common cause due to nerve compression. CR occurs when one or more nerves are impaired. When the motor nerves are compressed, it causes pain in the arms. In the cervical radiculopathy, the problem occurs at the brachial plexuses; it also affects the cervical area of the spinal cord. However, the symptoms related to the cervical radiculopathy are radiated and expressed in arms. The treatment is available for cervical radiculopathy, but the medicine is not satisfactory. Hence, we prepared medicated oil with the help of some nerve nourishing herbs, and we used this oil through Ayurvedic medicated enema therapy (Matra basti) for the cervical radiculopathy. Enema of medicated oil (Matrabasti) was administered for 21 days. The treatment was also validated. The nerve conduction was taken as a tool and the changes observed were confirmed. Hepatocellular jaundice is an infectious condition which affects the liver.Due to lifestyle modification, society can't follow these concepts about ‘Aahar’&Vihar’(Diet and behavioural regime)(e.g. fast food, Chinese style food, late-night sleep and day sleep. It is increasingly being realized that many of today's diseases are due to "oxid... more It is increasingly being realized that many of today's diseases are due to "oxidative stress" that results from an imbalance between formation and neutralization of free radicals. Rasayana Chikitsa is a unique branch of Ayurveda. The word Rasayana means the way for attaining excellent Rasadi Dhatus. Several medicinal plants have been described as Rasayanas in Ayurveda. Ashwagandha and Guduchi are the best among the Rasayanas described by Charaka. To study the efficacy of Ashwagandha and Guduchi in oxidative stress in healthy volunteers. The study was carried out on 30 healthy volunteers after obtaining written informed consent. They were randomly distributed in three groups. Each group was treated with three different colored capsules containing Ashwagandha, Guduchi and placebo in the dose of 1 capsule (500 mg) twice a day for 6 months. The parameters such as hemoglobin%, Erythorcyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), Malondialdehyde (MDA), Super-Oxide Dismutase (SOD) level, etc., were assessed before and after treatment. The Student's t-test was applied to assess significant variations in all of the studied parameters. In this study, there was a significant increase in SOD level and decrease in MDA level in Ashwagandha and Guduchi groups. Ashwagandha and Guduchi may be helpful in preventing the oxidative stress and premature aging.
