The research aims to assess the institution's capacity to ensure political stability, promote democratic values, and address corruption and centralization of power. Utilizing mixed methods, the study combines surveys, indepth interviews, and direct observation, supported by thematic
and statistical analysis. Key findings indicate that improving inter-institutional collaboration, adopting innovative decisionmaking strategies, and leveraging technology for transparency are crucial for addressing governance challenges. The study concludes that reforms in legal frameworks and accountability mechanisms are vital for enhancing public trust and institutional responsiveness. These findings provide actionable insights for policymakers to advance democratic governance and institutional
resilience.

This presence includes a keen interest in Southeast Europe, with Serbia identified as a key strategic partner. China's approach to Serbia intersects with Russia's longstanding presence rooted in the historical and cultural ties with Serbia. This paper examines the strategic interests and goals of China and Russia in Serbia, exploring their respective methods and tools. It also delves into Serbia's foreign policy aspirations for sustainable security trying to balance the presence of superpowers within, and around its territory. The paper evaluates Serbia's try of strategic navigation of its geostrategic position between East and West, questioning if Serbia is actually naive or aware of its circumstances. The study elucidates on how China and Russia's strategic maneuvers in the region, often subconsciously, shape Serbia and its neighboring countries. Within this intricate landscape, the concept of “Strategic symmetry” emerges as a crucial element, highlighting the delicate balance of influence that both powers exert in Serbia while it strives to maintain its entry into the European Union.

Prior to the amendments, Indonesia lacked a clear mechanism for removing a president during their term. The removal was determined by a majority vote in the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), which posed problems because this process was entirely political and did not involve legal aspects. After the amendments, the idea emerged that in a presidential system, a president cannot be removed solely through political means; a legal process must be followed first. Therefore, this article aims to explain the mechanism of presidential impeachment in Indonesia by comparing it with other countries. The method used in this study is normative juridical. Based on the analysis conducted, it is evident that presidential impeachment in Indonesia, in a normative sense, contradicts the principle of checks and balances, particularly because this process does not involve a second chamber.

In the diverse social landscape of Indonesian society, it is possible for one heir to adhere to a non-Muslim religion while the other two heirs are Muslim. This situation raises a legal problem in the field of inheritance, as the non-Muslim heir may risk losing their inheritance rights. Both religious rights and inheritance rights are human rights that must be protected, and their fulfillment must be guaranteed by the state through the establishment of policies regarding compulsory testament. This study employs a normative legal research method to examine existing regulations, the challenges faced by non-Muslim heirs, and the role of the state in promoting justice and protecting human rights. The results of the study conclude that mandatory wills intended for non-Muslim heirs are based on customary law with the principles of justice, social justice, and humanity. Mandatory wills for non-Muslim families also accommodate the democratic atmosphere in society and the state, answering the need for a sense of justice that is the right of every individual and preventing inequality in the pluralistic Indonesian society. It is necessary to strengthen regulations related to compulsory testament, to guarantee the rights of non-Muslim heirs, in order to create a more just and civilized society.

Activities inside the international system are shaped by various contexts, reflecting the complexities of their existence. Some states manage in addition to their own flow with a pragmatic approach to achieve maximum win in their interaction, while others remain in their reflective fate with little or almost no progress. This paper seeks to analyze how these varying outcomes are influenced by the application of the pragmatic approach, exploring the deeper philosophical implications of pragmatism in shaping international interactions. Analyzing pragmatism, the paper explores how pragmatic approaches can be inserted into the framework and encourage cooperation. The main aim is to shed light on the role of pragmatism in the reflexive behavior of a community or ethnic group, looking at the example of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia comparatively. The research method employed is a qualitative analysis combining historical review and theoretical research. The literature review was conducted, examining seminal works by key pragmatic philosophers such as Charles Sanders Peirce, William James, and John Dewey. Nevertheless, the research does not focus on specific examples only, rather, it explores a basis for understanding on how pragmatic behaviors are reflected to navigate the complexities of identity while fostering cooperation and social cohesion through the foundational reflective analysis of pragmatism.

To understand China's strategic interest in the countries of the Western Balkans, it is necessary to observe the framework of its presence through three main concepts in the regional context of interaction: territory, foreign policy (countries of the Western Balkans), and goals. BiH and Serbia base their foreign policy on different priorities.

Many analysts believe we are in the process of deglobalization for several decades already, and facing a world in transition. Various circumstances and events affect this transition, some of them writing history and some erasing it. The economy has one of the main roles in the process, and is once again the most significant for the tightening of international system. The question arises what is ahead of us, what will such aggravations bring to the world, and how thus directly or indirectly affect all of us, our place and environment? Therefore, this paper in a peculiar way analyze at existing events in a certain period of time significant changes, examine the theory of transformation, analyze the significance of one of the key places in the already defined space, and present the key elements of transformation which may have a reflection in another specific place, on whose basis we open up the understanding of the process of deglobalization we are in.

Predloženi geopolitički model u ovom radu predstavlja primjer postavljanja događaja u prizmu modela te daje mogućnost predviđanja njenog djelovanja i društveno političkih očekivanja.

Kako bi razumjeli kineski strateški interes u zemljama Zapadnog Balkana potrebno je okvir njenog prisustva posmatrati kroz tri glavna koncepta u regionalnom kontekstu interakcije: teritorij, vanjska politika (zemlja Zapadnog Balkana) i ciljevi. BiH i Srbija zasnivaju svoju vanjsku politiku u različitim prioritetima.
