The floors of object A are underground floor, ground floor and two floors, and for objects B and C it is underground floor, ground floor, first floor and the attic. These buildings have an underground shared garage. The foundation is 30 cm thick reinforced concrete slab, with capitals 200/200 cm, thickness dpp = 20 cm that are constructed in the middle part of the garage under the columns. Other underground parts of the buildings are the basements of each individual building. In addition to the common garage, the buildings have a common part of the ground floor, which connects the separate buildings. The construction of the garage at ground level is in the form of reinforced concrete slab with thickness dp = 35 cm with reinforcement-capitals under the columns with thickness dkpl. = 20 cm. The foundation and the ground floor slab are separat...

The construction of this tank was modelled using the ABAQUS software package, whereby a realistic picture of the stress notations in the walls of the tank was obtained. The structural load analysis was performed based on European and American standards, as well as comparison of the obtained results.

The need for reconstruction emerged due to change of the raw material, i.e. the transition from fluid fuel (mazut) to natural gas. The existing chimney is self-contained, standing circular steel structure with external diameter of 1500mm, standing on the two-stepped foundation made of reinforced concrete. With the change of raw material there was the need for three separate chimney pipes, and because of that on demand of the investor, the project of supporting carrier with triangular cross section, with sides of length 3.0 m, was made. With the analysis of the existing foundation structure and based on the existing geotechnical elaborate, it was concluded that the foundation needs to be restored and repaired in terms of reinforcement and expansion.

In addition, due to the change in the type of material stored in the silo, the load was increased. An analysis of all relevant impacts has begun to determine the actual stress and strain state on the structure. The construction is modeled in the Abaqus software package. Based on static influence, the necessary reinforcements are foreseen and the construction is dimensioned according to European regulations Eurocodes.

This examination offers the experimental analysis possibility of the reinforced-concrete core on effects of the horizontal load of seismic forces and the wind. These results are compared with the results obtained by FEM showing significant agreement.

Experimental research on axially compressed columns made from reinforced concrete (RC) and RC col... more Experimental research on axially compressed columns made from reinforced concrete (RC) and RC columns strengthened with a steel jacket and additional fill concrete is presented in this paper. A premade squared cross-section RC column was placed inside a steel tube, and then the space between the column and the tube was filled with additional concrete. A total of fourteen stub axially compressed columns, including nine strengthened specimens and five plain reinforced concrete specimens, were experimentally tested. The main parameter that was varied in the experiment was the compressive strength of the filler concrete. Three different concrete compression strength classes were used. Test results showed that all three cross-section parts (the core column, the fill, and the steel jacket) worked together in the force-carrying process through all load levels, even if only the basic RC column was loaded. The strengthened columns exhibited pronounced ductile behavior compared to the plain R...

The building has two underground floors, ground floor + Gallery + six floors + top floor, total height of approximately 29.00m. The floor structure of the building is made of solid reinforced concrete slabs cast on site and vertical reinforced concrete elements in the form of columns of different cross sections and shapes along the height of the building and reinforced concrete walls. The axial distances of the columns above ground level are 6.00 m and 7.80 m. From the ground floor to the first floor in the part of lamella B, coupled round columns with a diameter of Ф50 were used and the dimensioning was carried out according to the standard SRPS EN 1994-1-1. Above the first floor all the columns are constructed of square crosssection. The foundation was constructed on a full reinforced concrete slab with a thickness of dp = 70.0 cm. The protection of the underground floors was performed in a combination of piles, head beams and steel struts in the function of constructing the foundations and walls of the building by excavation stages. The calculation of the structure was performed according to SRPS standards and Eurocode.

The model`s geometry is proportional to the geometry of the numerical examples which applied in works of several authors for the analysis of the tall building cores. This examination offers the experimental analysis possibility of the reinforced-concrete corestiffened by lintel beams at each floor level-on effects of the horizontal load of seismic forces and the wind. These results are compared with the results obtained by FEM showing significant agreement.

The existing bridge is road, reinforced concrete, beam system bridge, with the middle span of 4.15m and cantilevers of 0.64m and 1.05m At the point of support of the road structure, transverse beams of variable cross-section are made, which rely on the perimeter walls of the bridge. The terms of reference required the bridge to account for a V600 vehicle and to extend it from two pedestrian paths. The static calculation of the bridge was done in the Radimpex Tower software.
This paper summarizes current regulations for comfort assessment of structural vibrations of timb... more This paper summarizes current regulations for comfort assessment of structural vibrations of timber floors in Europe and main design practices of timber floors on this aspect among the European countries. For building design, human activities are the most important internal sources of vibration in timber floors. The daily human activities such as walking, jumping or running on the floor may lead to an uncomfortable feeling to the users when magnitudes of the vibration are uncontrolled. Comparisons of vibration serviceability criteria for design of timber floors among the European countries were conducted and the recommendations on vibration serviceability design of timber floors are proposed.

As part of the project, structural elements of the bridge have been examined, based on which the existing amount of reinforcement and the level of damage to the bridge have been determined. We are planning rehabilitation and reconstruction of the bridge that has a total length of 11.96 m, with two openings. The static system of the AB road plate consists of two simple beams with a span of l = 5.98 m. The width of the repaired road of the bridge is 5.50 m, with pedestrian paths 2x0.84 m. Rehabilitation of the existing road structure will be performed by adding carbon strips according to the dimension instructions of the manufacturer Sika, by Sika CarboDuo program, while pedestrian paths will lean on the new AB support beams of Г cross-section that are leaning on the vertical edge pillars, which in turn are leaning on the new subconcreted foundations.

The existing construction of the hall relies on the construction of the bridge to the left for the removal of facade columns. In addition to the existing hall on the right side of the bridge construction, a new hall of the roof ties range is added l = 43.0m. Instead of the main bearing pillars in the façade plane, the main lattice carriers-relays rely on a newly-designed spatial construction-bridge. Bridge steel structure is located between the old and the new hall and thus fully connects the unobstructed technological process in the complex of existing and new halls. In static terms, the spatial steel construction is a simple beam of different ranges () mounted over three fields, which are administratively mounted on the transversal roof hinges-carriers of the hall. The foundation of the bridges' construction is designed in the form of the foundation of the male at the end supports and at two places within the bridge. The mentioned complex of the hall is located near the city of Salzburg in Austria.
