Sustainable area management in terms of economics, human resources and social culture. The aim of this research is to analyze the potential and strategy for developing a sustainable seaweed cultivation industry in the Kotania Bay area, West Seram, Maluku. The research was carried out from March to June 2023. The methods used in this research were survey methods, interviews, discussions, and focus group discussions, as well as field studies in the Katonia Bay seaweed cultivation area. Determining the sample using purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods using Excel software and the SWOT method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the priority seaweed cultivation development strategy that must be carried out is to formulate a seaweed cultivation business development strategy by applying intensive cultivation technology. Utilization of new land to increase production and meet market needs.

Keberhasilan produksi budidaya udang vaname tidak terlepas ketersediaan benur yang cukup dan berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan teknis, studi kelayakan, dan harga benur per ekor pada industri pembenihan udang vaname. Lokasi penelitian adalah pembenihan udang di PT SP Lampung dan PT CU Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan September – November 2022. Ruang lingkup penelitian mulai dari pemeliharaan larva udang sampai dengan panen pada post larva (PL-12). Berdasarkan penelitian dapat disimpulkan industri ini sudah membuat dan melaksanakan standar operasi sistem (SOP) dengan baik sehingga usaha yang dijalankan mendapatkan laba per tahun Rp.2.437.956.000 – Rp. 6.406.020.000,- Analisa studi kelayakan diketahui waktu pulang pokok (PP) 2 – 3 tahun, R/C ratio 1,45 – 2,1 Sedangkan biaya per ekor benur di PT SP sebesar Rp. 23,73 dan PT CU sebesar Rp. 34,49,-

However, it is difficult to get clown fish with a good level of color brightness. So it can reduce the level of sales production. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of tomato powder to increase the brightness of the color clown fish at the Ambon Marine Aquaculture Fisheries Center. The research was conducted from March to June 2020 at the Ambon Marine Aquaculture Fisheries Center. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment is to mix tomato powder in the feed with a concentration of 0 mg/gr (Treatment A), concentration 20 mg/gr (Treatment B), concentration 40 mg/gr (Treatment C), and concentration 60 mg/gr (Treatment D). Shrimp is a fishery commodity that has the economic value and important food provision, so that t... more Shrimp is a fishery commodity that has the economic value and important food provision, so that there is a need for increasing sustainability and continuity of the production. This research was conducted during March – December 2015 in Banten Bay, Indonesia. The objective of this research were: (1) to assess the land suitability for shrimp farming, (2) to analyze land carrying capacity for shrimp farming, (3) to establish the institutional model of shrimp farming management. The data used were primary data, collected from field survey and secondary data, collected from literature and research report which were done in the research area. The methods used to evaluate the land suitability were weighted spatial overlay. The carrying capacity were analyzed using two approaches: land suitability weight and water availability methods. The institutional model was established using Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). The results of the study showed that from a total area analyzed of 5.028.3 ha, it can be classified into two suitability classes: highly suitable (S1) area which is 141.7 ha (2,8 %) and suitable (S2) area which is 4.886.6 ha (97.2 %). In term of management, the area can be grouped as traditional farming area of 4.173.5 ha (83 %), semi-intensive farming area of 698.93 ha (13,9) and intensive farming area of 155.87 ha (3,1%). The institutional modelling shows that the most decisive institutions are universities and research institutions. The model designed showed an inter-related relationship between land suitability, carrying capacity, institutional, and social in order to increase the sustainability of shrimp farming management.

The method chosen was Interpretative Structural Modeling (ISM). The method of data collection was done with surveys, laboratory tests, interviews and focus group discussion (FGD). There are five (5) elements were analyzed as the objectives of the program, the influential sectors of society, the needs of the program, the main obstacle and institutions involved in the implementation of the program. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kesesuaian lahan budidaya udang. Lokasi penelitian di pertambakan pesisir Teluk Banten, Provinsi Banten Indonesia. Parameter yang diukur (1). Kualitas air meliputi pH air, suhu, salinitas, kelarutan Oksigen (DO), BOD5, COD, TSS, Ammonia (NH₃), Fe, pasang surut. (2). Kualitas tanah meliputi pH tanah, tekstur tanah, potensial redoks, KTK, unsur hara (K,Ca, Mg, Fe), kemiringan lahan dan elevasi. (3) Pendukung budidaya udang meliputi infrastruktur (ketersediaan jalan dan listrik), jarak dari laut, jarak dari sungai dan curah hujan. As an alternative, vannamei shrimp cultivation gives hope for productive, profitable, and sustainable cultivation. The development of shrimp farming in Tegal City is carried out through simple methods, intensive technology, and the use of Busmetik technology or mini-scale shrimp farming on plastic ponds. The high demand in the shrimp market continues to encourage farmers to increase their productivity by increasing stocking density.
