In this paper, CNT based field effect transistors known as CNTFET is compared with the conventionally used silicon based technology MOSFETs on the basis of circuit level performance. Those two technologies are compared with simulation work performed on logic families such as inverter, logic gates NAND and NOR. We used gate length of 32nm for both MOSFET and CNTFET. The results of simulation conclude that in CNTFET based logic gates, leakage power and power delay product are lower and the delay is about 10times lower, compared to the MOSFET based devices such as logic gates. These excellent performances characteristics with different variations are also exhibit excellent robustness.

Understanding the provenance of alluvial gold using morphology and elemental composition could be helpful in developing an exploration strategy of regional benefit. Detailed morphological studies of gold grains revealed high flatness index values which are indicative of a distal source. Compositional studies of 58 gold grains using SEM and EMPA showed broadly similar Ag ranges (1–15 wt%) for each sample and occasional Cu values in individual gold particles to 0.4 wt%. Whilst the Ag profile is not diagnostic, the Cu values are compatible with derivation from either porphyry systems or ultrabasic rocks. The complex geology of the drainage catchments could host gold mineralization of other styles, but larger sample suites would be required to refine the current interpretation to establish whether particles which are simple Au-Ag alloys could be derived from orogenic or epithermal sources. This scoping study has demonstrated that the compositional and morphological studies of gold grains are useful in providing information regarding the nature and location of the source of placer gold in areas where there is limited information on the nature and location of in situ mineralization.

Patients having conjunctivitis, blephritis, keratitis or any otherocular inflammatory condition and patients having history of chemical burns and symblepharon were excludedfrom the study. Group A underwent surgical excision with 0.02% mitomycin–C application for 3 minutes andGroup B was surgically treated with application of amniotic membrane. Patients of both groups were followed upfor six months to detect recurrence of pterygium. Data was analyzed using SPSS version 20. Frequency andpercentages were calculated for categorical data like age, gender...

An elevated neutrophil: lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has been identified as a predictor of worse survival in patients with various solid tumors compared to hematologic malignancies but no reports yet examined its impact on multiple myeloma. The aim of this study was to examine the prognostic value of an elevated NLR in multiple myeloma. Methods We had approval by our institutional review board to collect the data on patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma at Staten Island University Hospital between year 2000 and 2012 identified from our local cancer database. Data on demographics, conventional prognostic markers, laboratory analyzes including blood count results, and histopathology were collected and analyzed. A cox proportional survival analysis was carried out to assess the relationship between NLR and mortality. NLR was assessed as a continuous variable as well as categorical ...

Developing countries can utilize the same models to improve their health care system as the industrialized world. Globally medicine is evolving to the era of "Artificial intelligence", medical education must include these modern technologies and competencies to reform. We intended to determine the attitude of the medical students towards the introduction of AI in Undergraduate Medical Education in District Peshawar. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out among 384 students of two medical colleges in Peshawar, utilizing a convenient sampling technique for data collection. A self-administered questionnaire, with 5 points Likert scale was used to collect data. Data was analyzed through SPSS version (22.2). Results: Majority of the students 61.7% had no previous ...

Moreover, to identify how the quality of electronic medical records affect the quality of health care services. METHODS A cross-sectional, descriptive, and comparative design was utilized between two groups in this study. The study was conducted in two public hospitals in Jordan. One hospital which had adopted the EMR system in their works and another hospital that had paper-based record. A convenience sampling technique was used to select 410 health professionals from the selected hospitals (205 participants from each hospital). SERVQUAL and E-S-QUAL questionnaires were adopted to collect the data about the quality of EMR and quality of health care service. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 21 was deployed to analyze the collected data. RESULT The results indicate that the quality of health care services (expectation and perception) in EMRs adopted hospital is higher than the quality of health care services in the hospital using paper-based record. Quality of EMRs and its domains (efficiency, availability, fulfilment, and privacy) are high in both perception and expectation of health care professionals in EMR-adopted hospitals. Moreover, there is a significant relationship between the whole perception of the quality of electronic medical records and the quality of services, and between each domain of quality of EMRs and total perception of quality of services. CONCLUSION Adoption of a high quality of EMR has a significant impact on improving the quality of health care services.

However, recent studies reported in pertinent literature reveal that concomitant epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) rearrangement can occur in a subset of patients with NSCLC. In order to shed further light on this issue, we report a case of adenocarcinoma of lung harboring both EGFR mutation in exon 21 (L861Q) and ALK rearrangement. This allows us to speculate on likely molecular mechanisms underlying this uncommon phenomenon, while also offering some practical guidelines on the therapeutic options that could benefit patients diagnosed with this dual-positive tumor.

The methodology part will explain on how the sequence will take place in order to complete this project within one year duration. Result and discussion shall discuss on the mathematical modeling based on two type of vehicle model that being proposed for this project. It is also included in this part the programming and simulation done in the MATLAB on how the system goes in passive suspension and also the active suspension based on two aspects which are suspension travel vs time and body mass displacement vs time. Then the validation is dane by comparing the result gain from the analysis with the literature.

The proposed technique is based on deriving a closed-form formula for the structure of the augmented Jacobian matrix generated by the PC approach, and then shows that this structure can be approximated with a different structure that can be decoupled into independent diagonal blocks.

For example, modern wireless signals can have bandwidths up to 80 MHz [1] and can vary in operating frequency and amplitude over time. In contrast, affordable spectrum analyzers typically have narrow (up to 10 MHz) instantaneous bandwidth (IBW). This makes analyzing a time-varying wideband signal that is greater than 10 MHz in bandwidth with such narrowband instrumentation require a sweep over several frequency bands. This can yield erroneous measurement results.
