The system is composed of a drone charging station with multiple power transmitters and a receiver to charge the battery of a drone. A resonance inductive coupling-based wireless power transmission technique is used. With limits of wireless power transmission in inductive coupling, it is necessary that the coupling between a transmitter and receiver be strong for efficient power transmission; however, for a drone, it is normally hard to land it properly on a charging station or a charging device to get maximum coupling for efficient wireless power transmission. Normally, some physical sensors such as ultrasonic sensors and infrared sensors are used to align the transmitter and receiver for proper coupling and wireless power transmission; however, in this system, a novel method based on the hill climbing algorithm is proposed to control the coupling between the transmitter and a receiver without using any physical ...

Research paper thumbnail of Neural Network Based Fault Detection and Diagnosis System for Three-Phase Inverter in Variable Speed Drive with Induction Motor

Therefore, inverter must be taken into consideration along with induction motor in order to provide a relevant and efficient diagnosis of these systems. Various faults in inverter may influence the system operation by unexpected maintenance, which increases the cost factor and reduces overall efficiency. In this paper, fault detection and diagnosis based on features extraction and neural network technique for three-phase inverter is presented. Basic purpose of this fault detection and diagnosis system is to detect single or multiple faults efficiently. Several features are extracted from the Clarke transformed output current and used in neural network as input for fault detection and diagnosis. Hence, some simulation study as well as hardware implementation and experimentation is carried out to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme. Results show that the designed system not only detects faults ea...

The quasi-experimental study was conducted at the Department of Spine Surgery at Combined Military in a tertiary care hospital in Rawalpindi from 2006 to 2013. A pre-designed proforma was used for each patient and records were kept a custom-built computer database. Neurik grading was used to assess neurological status preoperatively, at 6 months, 1 year and 2 years. There were 120 patients with a mean age of 60.08 years (range 26-82, standard deviation 13.13). Of them 108 (90%) were males and 12 (10%) females. The preoperative neurologic status was Nurick\'s grade 0 in 6 (5%) patients There were 120, I in 9 (7.5%), II in 23 (19.16%), III in 28 (23.33%) and IV in 19 (15.83%) and V in 35 (28.16%). The spine was approached anteriorly in 48 (40%) patients and posteriorly in 72 (60%). Single level was involved in 23 (19.16), two in 30 (25%), three in 22 (18.33%) and four in 45 (37.5%) cases. This study was conducted in class VIII.2 of SMP Negeri 3 Barru with 23 students. The results achieved after the study was carried out for two cycles were as follows: In the first cycle, there were 40.63% of students who had the ability to master the geometric transformation formulas in the sufficient category. Whereas in the classical results, it was found that the students' average score was 68.06 in the 54.6-64.5 interval or in the sufficient category. In the second cycle, there were 56.25% of students who had the ability to master the mathematical formulas in the high category, 28.13% of students had the ability to master the mathematical formulas in the very high category. From the results of the final evaluation of the second cycle, it was classically found that the students' avera...

SARS and four other coronaviruses have been reported since 2003, causing substantial morbidity and mortality. A new coronavirus was firstly reported from Hubei Province, Wuhan City in China, in December 2019 and named as novel Corona Virus. Later on, this virus is referred to as COVID-19, which can cause diseases similar to SARS and named for the spikes that protrude from their membranes, like the sun’s corona. The virus is believed to have been spread by animals sold in Wuhan from the seafood market and Health authorities in China reported fever, cough, breathing problems, and pneumonia in patients. The virus has a variety of physical and pathogenic features similar to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Closer contact may cause the virus to be transmitted Initial flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, myalgia, and dyspnea in the 2-14 days of viral contact...

It helps in finding objects and identifying materials etc. Such an identification is very difficult using other imaging techniques. It allows the researchers to investigate the documents without any physical contact. Nowadays detection of unequal Ink mismatch based on HSI has shown vast improvement in distinguishing the inks. Detection of unequal Ink mismatch is an unbalanced clustering problem. This paper used K-means Clustering for ink mismatch detection. K-means Clustering find same subgroups in the data based on Euclidean distance. This paper demonstrates performance in unequal Ink mismatch based on HSI.
