OPEC Countries, on the other hand, are in the fortunate position of possessing a valuable mineral resource, crude oil, which being the main source of energy consumed by the world, especially by the countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), has become the prime generator of foreign exchange for all OPEC Countries, and to some of them it has become the only source.
