The technological development has turned meme into a medium of political communication or widely known as political memes, it’s a new media platform that combines visuals and added text containing messages that has political elements in them. Political memes are becoming political tools with a purpose of delivering political messages into the public. The research question from this thesis is whether there is an influence and how much is the exposure of political memes can influence the extent of youth participation in the political discussion on cyber media. Therefore this research aims to determine whether there is an influence between political memes exposure to the level of youth participation in the political discussion on the cyber media.
