Baz istasyonlari da bu alanlardan biri olarak on plana cikmaktadir. Calismada baz istasyonlarinin enerji tuketimi pekcok faktore bagli olarak matematiksel olarak modellenmeye calisilmistir. Kestirilen enerji tuketimiyle var olan tuketim degerleri karsilastirilarak olculen tuketim kestirilen tuketim degerinden yuksek olan sahalarda optimizasyon calismasi yapilarak tuketim fazlaligina sebep olan etmenler arastirilacaktir. Bu anlamda calisma, optimizasyon calismasinin fizibilite asamasini olusturmakta olup, kabinetlerin matematiksel modelinin ortaya konulmasini saglamaktadir. Ayrica bundan sonra insa edilecek kabinetler de, ortaya konulan bu matematiksel modellemeden yararlanilarak, kabinetin en optimum sekilde kurulmaya calisilacaktir. The goal of this research is to improve the productivity of Numerically Controlled (NC) machine t... more The goal of this research is to improve the productivity of Numerically Controlled (NC) machine tools by optimization of feedrate settings. In this paper we compare the maximum cutting forces and cutting times using traditional methods with those achieved using the optimization methods developed in our research. Results indicate that significant productivity gains can be realized using the feedrate optimization techniques. Benefits include shorter cutting times, significantly reduced maximum cutting forces, and reduced uncertainty in the preparation of NC machining programs.

A great deal of research has been done during the last twenty years on the modeling and control o... more A great deal of research has been done during the last twenty years on the modeling and control of NC machining. Despite the promise of substantial productivity improvements these methods are sparsely used outside their academic birthplaces. We believe that Open-Architecture Controllers (OAC) are the key to unlocking this unfulfilled potential. We describe the implementation of novel methods for feedrate optimization which utilize a commercially available OAC. In this paper an example is given of how substantial improvements in machining processes can be achieved by implementing geometric and mechanistic models of the cutting process on an OAC. These benefits should provide motivation for a more universal adoption of OACs.

DEĞİŞKEN SU DEBİLERİNİN TERMOELEKTRİK MODÜLÜN SOĞUTMA PERFORMANSINA ETKİLERİ ÖZET Bu çalışmada, T... more DEĞİŞKEN SU DEBİLERİNİN TERMOELEKTRİK MODÜLÜN SOĞUTMA PERFORMANSINA ETKİLERİ ÖZET Bu çalışmada, TEC1-12706 model bir termoelektrik modülün üzerine monte edilen bir su bloğunun içinden geçirilen farklı su debilerinin, sistem verimine etkileri incelenmiştir. Su bloğunun içerisinden 5 farklı kütlesel debide su geçirilmiş, yapılan hesaplamalar sonucunda yüksek su debisinin termoelektrik modülden atılan ısı miktarını arttırdığı ve dolayısıyla sistemin toplam verimini arttırdığı tespit edilmiştir.
