With stock-outs, transportation problems and the bullwhip effect caused by ever-changing demand, it is necessary for decision-makers to review their supply chain configuration. The latter must adapt to new market changes and respond quickly and cost-effectively to customer requirements. In fact, the selection criteria of the most reconfigurable configuration, i.e., the configuration that adapts its structure and its functions to the new market changes, must respond to this problem. The aim of this paper is to conduct a literature review of the criteria and methods for configuration selection in reconfigurable manufacturing systems and reconfigurable supply chains. This study allows to define a roadmap for the configuration selection in reconfigurable supply chains based on the most efficient reconfigurability criteria. We provide new trends to consider in this selection problem. This paper allows manage...

Although it has received increased attention in recent years, no synthesis has been conducted to present the main practices and sustainability indicators used to assess the performance of horizontal collaboration. In addition, the factors that can further improve the performance of horizontal collaboration in terms of sustainability have not been presented in any literature review. Thus, we expose, in this paper, a review of the existing studies dealing with horizontal collaboration, and we define the key indicators used to measure its performance. The most commonly used practices of horizontal collaboration are also illustrated. In fact, the main objectives of the present study are to highlight the impact of certain factors on the success of collaboration and to identify several guidelines for researchers and compani...

The lack of a complete study that addresses the impact of pooled on sustainability prompted us to do this work. The aim of this paper is to propose a formulation of indicators for three aspectsof sustainability: namely, in the economic level, we formulate the different logistics cost and the transportation fill rate, in the environmental level, we establish the different types of CO2 emissions and finally in the social/societal level, we estimate the accident rates and the noise level

In this article, we focus on the reconfiguration of supply chains through the business processes that compose them. We propose an approach of reconfiguration based on an integrated QFD (Quality Function Deployment)/AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model that allows to determine the processes, activities, roles and actors that require reconfigurations. Our aims is to determine the appropriate reconfiguration scenario and the process that should be reconfigured as a priority.

Its assessment requires an understanding of its quantitative factors to provide indicators that are easy to interpret. Effective reconfigurability assessment can be achieved by measuring quantitatively its six characteristics (modularity, integrability, convertibility, diagnosability, scalability and customization). This paper aims at identifying the quantitative factors of each characteristic and their inter-relationships by using Total Interpretive Structural Modelling (TISM). The structural model obtained by TISM is applied to understand the dependency quantitative factors. Based on TISM results, a classification of quantitative factors is determined using « Matrice d'Imp...
