The aims of this research is to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes of elemen... more The aims of this research is to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes of elementary school students by using a media-based PBL model. This research is a classroom action research. As data symbols, namely teachers and students. This research using interview techniques, observation, and tests for collecting data study. The method used in analyzing the data in this study is descriptive qualitative and descriptive comparative. The learning steps with the PBL model are: (1) student orientation to problems, (2) organizing students to learn, (3) guiding students in learning, (4) presenting work, (5) analyzing and evaluating the results of solving problem. So that there was an increase in mathematics learning outcomes starting from the pre-action test 69.73 and experienced an increase in cycle I to 74.47 then in cycle II it increased to 82.36.
