The purpose of this article is to investigate and determine the factors affecting integration and... more The purpose of this article is to investigate and determine the factors affecting integration and acquisition activities in Iran. For this purpose, two hypotheses were determined and the annual data of 30 companies of the Tehran Stock Exchange in the period 2008-2020 were used to test the hypotheses. To test the hypotheses, the neural network method optimized with the Jaya optimization method was used to examine the effect of the studied variables including firm size and growth ability, risk growth, asset return, equity return, and financial leverage. Analysis using neural networks is used to isolate and clarify the effects of each of the studied variables. The analysis of the neural network showed that the three variables, exchange rate, interest rate, and stock price are very important in the process of changes in merger and acquisition activities in the country. For this purpose, a sample of 350 firm-years during the year 2006 to 2010 was reviewed and was tested. To determine the appropriate method for estimating regression models and hypotheses testing, we used the F-Limer test and Hausman test which in both, the fixed effects (panel method) was used to estimate the models. In the present study, the ratio of Tobin's Q (market value) (TQ), Price to Earnings (P/E) and market value to book value (M/B) have been used as market measures of corporate performance evaluation. This is a descriptive correlation type study. The statistical population is consisted of all managers and master experts working in branches of Mazandaran province Bank Melli who were 168 individuals, among whom 118 were selected as the sample using stratified sampling method. To collect the data two researcher-made questionnaire were used aimed to assess business intelligence and competitive advantage. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant relation between business intelligence and competitive advantage. Also there is a positive and significant correlation between competitive advantage and the three dimensions of business intelligence, i.e. collection of information in data warehouses, data integration and analysis, and access to information for the purpose of decision making.

Volatility is one of the factors that expose this loss to variations. Stock volatility is a means of displaying the degree of uncertainty about future variations in stock returns. With increased volatility, stock price is more likely to increase or decrease while the situation is different for the individual who holds the purchase or sale option. The present study aims to determine the maximum loss of stock option contract over a period of time due to stock price movement opposite to the expectations and unexercised contract. Banks, as the most important financial institutions, have a determinant role in circulating curre... more Banks, as the most important financial institutions, have a determinant role in circulating currency and wealth of the society and enjoy a special position in financial system. Therefore, the desired and effective performance of banks can create important effects on the development of different economic sectors and increase in the quantitative levels of the output. This study attempts to examine the effect of liquidity risk on the performance of commercial banks using of panel data related to commercial banks of Iran during the years 2003 to 2010. In the estimated research model, two groups of bank-specific variables and macroeconomic variables are used. The results of research show that the variables of bank's size, bank's asset, gross domestic product and inflation will cause to improve the performance of banks while credit risk and liquidity risk will cause to weaken the performance of bank.

The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of performance evaluation market ra... more The main objective of this study is to investigate the effect of performance evaluation market ratios on the stock return of companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange. For this purpose, a sample of 80 companies were investigated and analyzed among the companies listed in the Tehran Stock Exchange during the years 2006 to 2010. In this study is used the variables of earnings per share (EPS), price to earnings ratio (P/E) and the ratio of market value to book value of equity (M/B) to evaluate the market ratios of performance evaluation of companies. The research results indicate that earnings per share has significant and positive effects on stock return of current year, but on the stock return of future year has positive and bound line effects. Also obtained results show that the variables of price to earnings ratio and market value to book value ratio statistically have significant and negative effects on stock return of current and future year.

We use an augmented neoclassical production function type and apply VECM methodology to estimate the short and long-run effects. The results show: negative effects of non-oil export on non-Export output, while capital stock and labor force have positive effects on non-Export GDP.

In order to achieving the objectives of the study 7 hypotheses about audit quality and 7 hypotheses about internal and external corporate governance are postulated in the current study during 2009-2014 in Iran. Data analyzed in two regression models via the R software. The results indicate that there is no significant positive relationship between independent audit quality and the quality of disclosure of financial statements information, but there is a significant relationship between corporate governance and the quality of disclosure of financial statements information. So far, the current study is the first paper on the subject which conducted in the developing country such like Iran, the results of the study may give the strength to the auditing literature.

The statistical population is consisted of all managers and master experts working in branches of Mazandaran province Melli Bank who were 168 individuals, among whom 118 were selected as the sample using stratified sampling method. To collect the data two researcher-made questionnaire were used aimed to assess business intelligence and competitive advantage. The results indicated that there is a positive and significant relation between business intelligence and competitive advantage. Also there is a positive and significant correlation between competitive advantage and the three dimensions of business intelligence, i.e. collection of information in data warehouses, data integration and analysis, and access to information for the purpose of decision making.

Monetary transmission mechanism includes some channels in which monetary policy influences on mac... more Monetary transmission mechanism includes some channels in which monetary policy influences on macroeconomic variables such as the output and inflation. In this study, the effect of monetary policy tools including interest rate, exchange rate and money supply on the variables of monetary policy targets including inflation and output is examined through VECM methodology over the period 1989:2-2007:2. Our findings show that in long-term, monetary supply is the most important variable influencing the price followed by the variables of output and exchange rate, respectively. Exogenous-being of interest rate indicates that this channel is underdeveloped and there is no monetary policy rule like Taylor rule in Iran's economy.
