Additionally, citizens are becoming more conscious of having a healthier lifestyle based on several environmental and economic issues prevailing worldwide. Hence, empirically testing the predictors of providing excellent public healthcare services and enhancing the resultant citizens' trust in such services is of utmost significance. Simultaneously, the critical role of healthcare workers' capacity in providing quality services to patients in public health institutions and improving healthcare services to develop citizens' trust needs has been considered in this study. Background: This study explores the management of self-concept in improving the quality of life o... more Background: This study explores the management of self-concept in improving the quality of life of diabetic ulcer patients. Low confidence in the quality of life is a factor causing patients with long-term diabetes to believe they cannot be cured properly. Ulcers result from diabetes mellitus complications due to the nervous system and blood vessel damage. Patients with diabetic ulcers experience depression and feel acute stress when the disease has been categorized as a chronic condition. Method: This study uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional study design approach. The data collection techniques used purposive sampling and had 82 diabetic ulcer sufferers as respondents in the study. Result: This study empirically proves that (p-value ≤ α=0.05) where there is effective management of the concept of self-health applied by diabetic ulcer patients in reducing the level of depression and sufferers can increase their confidence in better health factors. This study aims to know the implementation of good performance of local governance in improving t... more This study aims to know the implementation of good performance of local governance in improving the quality of health administration, especially the future of neglected children who live in urban areas to access the health facilities provided by the Government. Method: This study uses a kind of naturalistic qualitative research aimed at obtaining an overview of the phenomenon that occurred in the neglected children in Mataram. Data collection is conducted through a depth interview of the key informant who has the relevance of knowledge that is relevant to the problem of neglected children. Result: The results of this study showed that the problem of neglected children is a real phenomenon in the city of Mataram. The issues faced by local governments regarding the difficulty of local governments to overcome health problems for neglected children. So that whenever child neglect has a severe health problem, they should have to ask compassion for other people to help. Conclusion: The issue of neglected children is a real phenomenon that generally occurs in urban areas, and neglected problems occur influenced by the poverty factor. The implementation of local government functions has not been running correctly. The social development planning of local government is not functioning optimally due to the lack of clarity regarding health policy for neglected children who have social problems in the urban area.

This study aimed at analyzing the effect of guided inquiry learning to the metacognitive ability ... more This study aimed at analyzing the effect of guided inquiry learning to the metacognitive ability of primary school students on the material of Least Common Multiple ( KPK) and Greatest Common Divisor ( FPB) . The type of study was a mixed-method using quantitative and qualitative methods. There were 55 students of 4 th grade used as the subjects of study. Two learning models were compared, namely guided inquiry learning model and conventional learning model. The students’ metacognitive ability was measured by means of problem-solving test on the material of Least Common Multiple ( KPK) and Greatest Common Divisor ( FPB) . The quantitative analysis data used descriptive and inferential statistical tests. According to the results of data analysis, it was discovered that the t-test of sig (2-tailed) from the independent samples t-test of post-test was 0,00 (p = <0,05); this indicated that there was a significant difference on it. The neglected phenomenon occurs due to the modern urban environment. No city like Mataram or even city anywhere in Indonesia is without the presence o/‘health problem ofneglected children. The data shows that in 2013, 78, 96 million children under the age of'l8 or 35percent of lndonesian population are need attentionfrom the health department.
