The Bulletin of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University has been published four times a year since 1999. Bulletin is an authoritative scientific publication whose articles and materials are widely known, covering important topics of scientific research. Since 2023, it has been re-registered as a scientific and pedagogical journal, which highlights the methodology and topical issues of teaching mathematics, physics, and computer science, received the name of a separate journal "Topical issues of teaching mathematics, physics and information science". Journal describes the theoretical foundations, aims and objectives, teaching methods, and general scientific principles of teaching mathematics, physics, and computer science, which are necessary for future teachers. This scientific and educational magazine is aimed at teachers, researchers, young scientists and students, secondary school teachers, and intellectuals who want to keep abreast of news in the field of education and science in Kazakhstan. The methodology of teaching mathematics, physics, and computer science makes it possible to implement general theories of training and education of future teachers with the help of these disciplines. The main objective of the journal is to publish high-quality original scientific articles that have not been previously published and have not been submitted for publication in another journal. Ensuring the systematic and conscious assimilation of knowledge and qualifications sufficient to further perpetuate the knowledge necessary for every member of modern society for everyday life and work. Abstract The goal of the research was to determine the need of a special training for development... more Abstract The goal of the research was to determine the need of a special training for development of metacognitive skills for teachers to develop their qualifications. The study offers such a program for testing. The novelty of the research lies in the integral study of the relationship between the introduction of the entire group of metacognitive skills with the improvement of pedagogical skills. The study was conducted on the basis of NJSC “Toraighyrov University” (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan). A representative sample included of 160 first year students (81 women and 79 men) in control and experimental groups equal. In the experimental group, the assessment of metacognitive skills according to the Assessing Metacognitive Awareness test is significantly higher than in the control one (r=0.281-0.369; for "Procedural knowledge" r=0.718 for control group; r=0.318-0.784 for experimental group). In the experimental group, there was a moderate and close to strong Pearson's correlation between exam scores and scores of metacognitive skills according to the Assessing Metacognitive Awareness test (from 0.318 to 0.784). The practical use of the results of this study will allow using special programs for improving the metacognitive skills of teachers, focusing on the most difficult to learn from them.

The problem-solving subscale recorded high levels for students and moderate levels for high school students. Supported reading strategies and Global reading strategies were in the medium range for each age group.DiscussionThe obtained results are primarily important for students and teachers. The primary goal of this study was to unveil the key features of research activity in the context... more The primary goal of this study was to unveil the key features of research activity in the context of school education and identify the most significant barriers to it. This was to be achieved by conducting a structured survey of 174 teachers. Further interviewing of 10 teachers of the most successful schools in these terms intended to detail the characteristics of research activities in the considered educational institutions. The systematization and generalization of the collected results was the final stage of this analysis. The data obtained in the course of the investigation confirmed the idea that most students should take a special course on introduction to research from their first days at a university. In practice, the research results can be used in the implementation of STEM methods, scientific education, and the involvement of schoolchildren in research activities in the educational programs of most developing countries that have similar problems. The theoretical and methodological base of the study consists of the conceptual provisions of sociological theory, revealing two basic concepts: “corporate culture of an educational organization” and “social health of Russian student youth”. The authors highlight the main functions of corporate culture; give a sociological analysis of the concept of "social health" of youth. The attitude to health at the level of corporate culture of an educational organization is a system of corporate standards in relation to social health and its value in general and the social policy of this organization in the field of health. The article reveals personality- and functionally-oriented directions of the culture of corporate relations in terms of their impact on the social health of young people.

In this paper, the influence of the implemented “Career development” course on the Toraighyrov University undergraduate students’ readiness for career decision-making was analyzed. The Career Decision-making Difficulties Questionnaire (CDMDQ) and it was used to test the hypothesis that by implementing “Career Development” course the level of students’ career decision-making readiness would increase. The participants were 104 students at Toraighyrov University, divided equally into the control and experimental groups (52 students each). The experimental group, unlike the control group, took the “Career Development” course for 15 weeks. The purpose of this study was to experimentally test the impact of the author's Concept and t... more The purpose of this study was to experimentally test the impact of the author's Concept and the corresponding educational and methodological support on the technological development of the pedagogical process (based on teaching Fine Arts to pre-schoolers). Quantitative research methods like surveys, interviews, questionnaires, tests, tutor observation check-lists, students’ and learners’ performance records experiment were utilised. Three knowledge field and measurement and evaluation experts were involved to assess the validity of the instruments. The Internal reliability of the questionnaire was validated through running the Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 that resulted in a reliability coefficient, which was 0.72 and indicated internal reliability. Technologisation is thought of as a mechanism for the targeted, phase-gate implementation of the system’s elements of a holistic pedagogical process, leading children to high-performance outcomes in both learning and education. The aim of this article is to reveal that the technologisation of the pedagogical process implies the constant personal and professional self-development of a teacher. The article outlines the results of a survey of 700 pre-school teachers. Analysis of the results proves the relevance of the practices involving the possibility of free experimentation and creative development of both students and teachers.
