However, the difference in the therapeutic effect between OB-derived OECs and OM-derived OECs remains unclear. In this study, we extracted OECs from OB and OM and compared the gene and protein expression profiles of the cells using transcriptomics and non-quantitative proteomics techniques. The results revealed that both OB-derived OECs and OM-derived OECs highly expressed genes and proteins that regulate cell growth, proliferation, apoptosis and vascular endothelial cell regeneration. The differentially expressed genes and proteins of OB-derived OECs play a key role in regulation of nerve regeneration and axon regeneration and extension, transmission of nerve impulses and response to axon injury. The differentially expressed genes and proteins of OM-derived OECs mainly participate in the positive regulation of inflammatory response, defense response, cytokine binding, cell migration and wound healing. These findings suggest that differentially expressed genes and proteins may explain why OB-derived OECs and OM-derived OECs exhibit different therapeutic roles. This study was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University (approval No. 2017-073) on February 13, 2017.

In this paper minimum entropy generation principle is discussed and applying on Carnot cycle to optimize it. The analysis of Carnot cycle is based on output power, entropy generation rate and heat work conversion efficiency. Carnot cycle is working between two heat exchangers with variable temperature, relationship is derived for above define parameter to evaluate the performance of the cycle. In the presence of various inlet temperature streams and prescribed condition is applying on the cycle and result show that the minimum entropy generation rate is not always corresponds to maximum work done and highest work heat conversion efficiency for prescribed conditions.

Our framework is based on a unique combination of (1) Voronoi partitioning of space using curve segments as the Voronoi sites and (2) the design of these curve segments based on weave patterns closed under symmetry operations. The underlying weave geometry provides an interlocking property to the tiles and the closure property under symmetry operations ensure single tile can fill space. In order to demonstrate this general framework, we focus on specific symmetry operations induced by bi-axial weaving patterns. We specifically showcase the design and fabrication of woven tiles by using the most common 2-fold fabrics called 2-way genus-1 fabrics, namely, plain, twill, and satin weaves. *e-mail: vinayak@tamu.edu †e-mail: ergun.akleman@gmail.com ‡e-mail: sai3097ganesh@tamu.edu §e-mail: katherineboyd@tamu.edu ¶e-mail: sqree@tamu.e...

Coastal zones are subject to particular sets of environmental constraints, thus identifying the drivers of species richness therein should shed light on the regional gradients of species diversity. Here, we investigate the geographic patterns and drivers of plant diversity across coastal regions while allowing for pervasive sampling deficiencies. Based on 142708 records of flowering plant occurrences, we mapped species richness and estimated the level of knowledge across the coastal zone of Brazil. Based on inventory completeness, we used linear regression models to test the predictive power of environmental variables that represent different environmental hypotheses. Few cells (25%) were well-surveyed, reflecting little knowledge about the distribution and diversity of flowering plants on the highly-populated Brazilian coast. Still, we found support for the habitat heterogeneity hypothesis as the best explanation of the variation in species richness of flowering plants in this region. Soil properties and water constraints are also important factors. Although our work emphasises the paucity of information on plant diversity in tropical and human-dominated areas, we show that knowledge limitations should not curb our capability of addressing hypotheses about species diversity.

This study aims to bridge this gap. It also validates CSF already identified for LSS under conventional technologies. Design methodology approach Empirical research using the questionnaire method is conducted. Construct of the questionnaire is checked using Cronbach’s alpha and responses received are analysed using t-test and exploratory factor analysis. Findings In total, 20 factors are evaluated for LSS success. It includes 7 factors related to quality 4.0 technologies and 13 related to the conventional set-up. All 7 quality 4.0 related factors were found critical; whereas, under traditional set-up, 11 factors out of 13 were found critical. Practical implications The study will help enterprises in the fast and effective adoption of quality 4.0 and seamless integration with LSS. The post-Covid-19 business scenario is expected to be information technology focussed. The findin...

Aim and Objectives: To estimate serum levels of beta catenin in AML patients and in age and sex matched healthy controls. Material and Methods: Twenty patients after confirmed diagnoses of acute myeloid leukemia were enrolled in the study. Diagnosis was based on blast cells 20% or more in peripheral blood smear/bone marrow by immunophenotyping (IPT)/flowcytometry. Twenty healthy age and sex matched volunteers served as controls. Results: The mean age for patients was 36.95±15.28. The beta catenin (pg/mL) levels were increased in male AML patients before chemotherapy (115.41±26.22) as compared to male controls (19.66±5.43) (p <0.001). Beta catenin levels were also increased in female AML patients before chemotherapy (114.25±22.55) as compared to female controls (19.37±4.53) (p <0.001). Nine male patients (45%) and 7 female patients (35%) achieved remission after induction chemotherapy while 3 male patients (15%) and 1 female patient (5%) failed to achieve remission. Conclusion: AML arise from a small pool of specialized leukemic stem cells (LSC), which have the idiosyncratic ability to self-renew. Targeted eradication of these stem cells will be crucial for permanent elimination of the disease and improved overall outcome. Wnt pathway controls self-renewal of hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) through regulation of beta catenin. Aberrant activation of beta catenin is a common event in AML and accumulating evidence indicates this pathway plays a critical role in the establishment and maintenance of myeloid neoplasms. Influencing this pathway seems to be a promising diagnostic and treatment strategy and should be followed up in further studies for future clinical use in patients with AML.

However, although there have been many relevant results and conclusions, there has been no systematic assessment of this field. Aim: To analyze important areas of research utilizing MRI in studies of schizophrenia and explore major trends and the knowledge structure using bibliometric analysis. Methods: Literature related to MRI studies of schizophrenia published in PubMed between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2018 were retrieved in 5-year increments. The extracted major Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) terms/MeSH subheadings were analyzed quantitatively. Bi-clustering analysis, social network analysis (SNA), and strategic diagrams were employed to analyze the word matrix and co-occurrence matrix of high-frequency MeSH terms.

The two techniques are compared in a system which consists of a photovoltaic system connected to a grid via a two-level three-phase inverter. The P&O and Fuzzy-PI techniques are examined under different weather conditions, namely, ramp change in irradiation level and ramp change in temperature levels. Disturbances represented by fluctuations in power demand from the utility grid is generated to assess the robustness of each of the two controllers. The Fuzzy-PI based MPPT, has proved its excellent tracking and robustness against abrupt perturbations. Simulations of the system performances using the two regulators are performed to validate the conceptual standings.
