Neonates with health conditions such as respiratory disorders, heart problems, infections. Aim of the study, this study aimed to assess the nurses' performance regarding intravenous access for neonates in neonatal intensive care unit. Research design: descriptive design was used. Sample: A convenient sample included all available nurses at the NICU. Setting: This study was conducted at neonatal intensive care unit at Menyat El Naser hospital affiliated to Dakahliya Directorate of health Tools: Three tools were used for data collection (1) Predesigned questionnaire format, to assess characteristics of studied nurses and studied neonates also to assess nurse's knowledge regarding intravenous access in neonatal intensive care unit. (2) Observational check list to assess nurses practice regarding intravenous access in neonatal intensive care unit. (3) Attitude assessment scale to assess nurses attitude regarding intravenous access in the NICU. Result Displays that there is a relation between nurses' total knowledge regarding intravenous access and their qualification and years of experience with highly statistically significant difference (P<0.01). Demonstrates that there is a positive correlation between total nurses' knowledge, their total practices and total attitude regarding intravenous access for neonates. Conclusions: This study reveals that there is a positive correlation between total nurses' knowledge, practices and attitude regarding intravenous access for neonates Recommendations: Design training programs at NICU to improve and refresh nurses' practice regarding the invasive procedures such as intravenous access for neonates and update their performance regarding umbilical venous catheter based on scientific evidence base.

The study aimed to assess the effect of reflexology strategy on the mother's breast milk volume and their premature weight gain. Design: An experimental design was used to conduct the study. A convenience sample of 120 Primiparous mothers and their preterm infants was chosen based on systematic simple random. Methods: Three tools were designed by the researchers to collect the necessary data to implement the reflexology strategy framework. 1.Structured interview questionnaire sheet, 2. Assessment observational checklist sheet for Premature using 2 scales: A. Transitioning from tube feeds to oral feeds, B. The Preterm Infant Breastfeeding Behavior Scale, three Evaluation Phase observational checklist based on Mother-Infant-Breastfeeding Progress Tool (MIBPT): Statistical Analysis: The collected data were coded, analyzed, figured and tabulated using frequencies and percentage, mean, standard deviation & chi-square tests. Results: There were a statistically significant difference and marked improvement in reflexology group total scores of feeding performance (P < 0.001) after intervention for 6 weeks approved of reflexology strategy. Reflexology group majority (88.3%) demonstrated good breastfeeding as compared to (55.2%) in the study group.

For the study purpose a sample of convenience of 1600 school students and their mothers was recruited from 16 schools from both countries participated in the study. Four tools used, pre/post interviewing questionnaire, observation checklists, Faye Abdellah model format, self-esteem scale sheet and students/mothers guidance booklet. The results showed that the total numbers of students at 8 schools in Egypt were 800/16700, with prevalence ratio 20.8% and 800/14300 from Kingdom of Saudia Arabia with the prevalence ratio 17.8%. The study documented that there is highly significant effects of the model on students' health status and banishing the social stigma and there is a highly positive association between selfesteem and assurance to the health behavior. It concluded that highly self-esteem had excellent health status and completely confident in coping with self-care management. In order to develop procedures for the care of affected school students with head lice, the researchers (a) assessed the prevalence of head lice infestation rate in primary school students, and the mothers' and teachers' knowledge of head lice infestation and its control measures, and (b) compared the effect of using mayonnaise and hair Shampoo to control head lice among elementary school students. Materials and Methods: An experimental design was used to conduct the study. Ten primary schools in Al Riyadh were identified using the cross-sectional study during 2015 and 2016. Five hundred (500) students, chosen through a multi-stage systematic random sample, participated and were randomly divided into two groups. Mayonnaise and hair Shampoo was applied to the first and second group respectively as a treatment for head lice. For all statistical analyses, SPSS version 20 were used. Results: using Mayonnaise helped in dismissing head lice was faster among all age groups of girls, none of the girls stayed infected beyond 8 and more days. The Total (82.0%) of girls recovered from infection between 6 to 8 days as compared to only (15.2%) as total among the hair Shampoo group with the same age group. Conclusion: The study shed light on the effectiveness of mayonnaise in the obliteration of head lice. Additional studies should be carried out to ensure the success of mayonnaise in overcoming the lice problem.
