This paper uses a panel cointegration model to analyse the long-term relationship between high-te... more This paper uses a panel cointegration model to analyse the long-term relationship between high-technology exports and economic growth in selected OECD countries in the period from 1989 to 2015. We used high-technology exports (current US$) as the dependent variable and the GDP growth rate, FDI (foreign direct investment), application of patents by residents, and gross capital formation % of GDP as explanatory variables. The export structure of countries is moving increasingly towards technology-intensive products such as ICT (information and communications technology), aerospace, computing and office equipment, electronics, chemical products, pharmaceuticals, and electrical machinery. The export structure has played an important role in the economic growth theories of many countries since the 1960s, as export growth has been associated with faster productivity and GDP growth. Diễn biến xâm nhập mặn có ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến hộ trồng lúa ở các tỉnh ven biển ở vùng Đồng bằng... more Diễn biến xâm nhập mặn có ảnh hưởng rất lớn đến hộ trồng lúa ở các tỉnh ven biển ở vùng Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, bao gồm Cà Mau và Sóc Trăng. Bài viết này phân tích các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến quyết định lựa chọn mô hình canh tác trên đất lúa trong điều kiện xâm nhập mặn dựa vào mô hình Ricardian. Kết quả chỉ ra rằng nhiều mô hình trồng lúa kết hợp như lúa cá, lúa tôm, và lúa màu được ghi nhận trên địa bàn của hai tỉnh bên cạnh mô hình chuyên canh cây lúa. Xu hướng chuyển đổi từ mô hình trồng lúa chuyên canh 2 vụ và 3 vụ sang mô hình lúa kết hợp trong điều kiện xâm nhập mặn được ghi nhận với tỉ lệ khá cao trên 50%. Kết quả nghiên cứu còn cho thấy các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến quyết định lựa chọn giữa mô hình sản xuất lúa chuyên canh và mô hình lúa kết hợp của hộ trồng lúa ở Cà Mau và Sóc Trăng bao gồm: diện tích đất, vay vốn, địa bàn và xâm nhập mặn. AutoDock Vina (Vina) achieved a very high docking-success rate, p ̂, but give a rather low correl... more AutoDock Vina (Vina) achieved a very high docking-success rate, p ̂, but give a rather low correlation coefficient, R, for binding affinity with respect to experiments. This low correlation can be an obstacle for ranking of ligand-binding affinity, which is the main objective of docking simulations. In this context, we evaluated the dependence of Vina R coefficient upon its empirical parameters. R is affected more by changing the gauss2 and rotation than other terms. The docking-success rate p ̂ is sensitive to the alterations of the gauss1, gauss2, repulsion, and hydrogen bond parameters. Based on our benchmarks, parameter set1 has been suggested to be the most optimal. The testing study over 800 complexes indicated that the modified Vina provided higher correlation with experiment R_set1=0.556±0.025 compared with R_Default=0.493±0.028 obtained by the original Vina and R_(Vina 1.2)=0.503±0.029 by Vina version 1.2.
