Salah satu media yang menarik dan belum banyak diminati banyak orang dalam mempromosikan pariwisata ialah media sastra (novel). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat dalam novel Suara Samudra serta mengetahui relevansinya sebagai media promosi pariwisata Lamalera – NTT. Teori yang digunakan untuk menunjang penelitian ini adalah teori antropologi sastra dan teori promosi pariwisata. Novel Suara Samudra karya Maria Matildis Banda ini diteliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini diawali dengan mengkaji muatan nilai kearifan lokal dalam novel, kemudian diperkuat dengan melakukan wawancara terstruktur kepada pembaca novel dengan tujuan untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang nilai kearifan lokal Lamalera. The researcher chose Mindy Cake & Cookies recipe book by Mindy Mot because this book is very popular among teenagers, foodies and various circles. This research uses feminism study with qualitative research. The data was collected by using library research. The library method was used at finding out the data in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu and in other literature which supports this research. The analyzed data are narrative structure, the role of women figure and the struggle of women figure in the novel Nayla by Djenar Maesa Ayu. The data were analyzed through the stage of reduction, presentation and data collection.
