This research brings a psychoanalytic reading of the toy in the children's literature. The childh... more This research brings a psychoanalytic reading of the toy in the children's literature. The childhood's, literature's and toy's history and concept are discussed, as well as some changes with these concepts nowadays. There is a comparison between the toy and the book, considered cultural products. The toy and its dual expression are discussed, like an object created by the adult and recreated by the child. Having the psychoanalysis as the interpretation instrument, the research analyses two classical tales, written in the 19 th Century, The little lead soldier, by the Dennmark author Hans Christian Andersen and A tale of school, by the Brazilian author Machado de Assis. It also shows different representations of the toy in the contemporary children's literature, in thirteen literary works studied. The thirteen works are national and translation editions, in different genres and categories: narrative and poetry, narrative with text and without text. The toy, seen as a cultural object that promotes the meeting between the adult and the child universe, is represented, in different ways, as a trespass, a catharsis, a way of communication for a child with his insight and outsight world. After presenting and analysing the books, it is studied the toy and its absence, the toy as a returning to the childhood and the literature as a toy. Sigmund Freud, Sándor Ferenczi and Donald W. Winnicott are the psychoanalyst authors worked in some reference books-secondary literature.

It can be defined as a laboratory which demonstrates the possibilities and obstacles that inhabit human relationships. A woman from the northeastern region of Brazil proves herself capable of creating new forms of female/male relations by inaugurating an original model of family structures which do not aim toward completeness. The diversity of each unfolding relationship demonstrates the certainty of unfulfilled need. Instead of subverting the established order, this woman experiences new perspectives through her love affairs, as these reveal a new space for her feminine condition without denying masculinity. This dynamic process is a consequence of her refusal to accept the passive melancholia of mythic femininity. The possibility of refusing this mortal feminine condition results from the internal process of mourning which reveals a novel dimension of issues that shall be worked through and elaborated. Femininity and masculinity permeate the transitory space between similarities and differences as both are structured upon the human condition of helplessness.

A poesia pode fazer parte da vida da crianca desde muito cedo. O bebe e embalado com cantigas que... more A poesia pode fazer parte da vida da crianca desde muito cedo. O bebe e embalado com cantigas que sao pequenos poemas folcloricos, os acalantos. Isso faz parte da cultura de muitos paises, em especial, do Brasil, com uma heranca folclorica diversificada, pelos povos dos quais herdamos tantas tradicoes populares. Mais tarde, cantigas de roda, trava linguas, quadrinhas, adivinhas, parlendas e outras modalidades de poemas da oralidade sao transmitidos as criancas de pouca idade. Ora na familia, ora na escola. E ate mesmo em espacos de socializacao: na rua, pracas, areas de lazer. A obra organizada pelo poeta Leo Cunha, Poesia para criancas, conceitos, tendencias e praticas, reune seis artigos de cinco autores sobre a poesia para a infância. O livro traz capitulos autonomos que podem ser lidos separadamente, mas que tratam de conteudos que estao relacionados a poesia na vida da crianca. Logo, um capitulo pode completar outro.

A proposta da nossa reflexão em Colo: o lugar do livro e da literatura na infância é pensar a lit... more A proposta da nossa reflexão em Colo: o lugar do livro e da literatura na infância é pensar a literatura infantil, seu desenvolvimento no país e seu alcance em bibliotecas e escolas. Que literatura é esta? O que a distingue do livro? Quem é a criança leitora? Conceber o colo como espaço de acolhimento para o bebê e a leitura ajuda a romper paradigmas e ler em voz alta para os bebês e as crianças, cantar e contar histórias. E, principalmente, valorizar e respeitar os sons aparentemente sem sentido como uma linguagem em construção. Incluir a família como responsável pela promoção da leitura é dever dos educadores comprometidos com a democratização da arte literária. O brinquedo é destacado como o objeto primordial da infância, assim como a presença dele na literatura. Ou seja, o jogar, a fantasia e a possibilidade de imaginação são, de fato, elementos preponderantes da literatura infantil. São citados autores da psicanálise que nos ajudam a entender a infância e aspectos da literatura...
