But the natural drink like the botanical drink is difference it contains chemical and biological elements. This study was aimed to develop healthy drink of Sugarcane juice by the use of different techniques, i.e.: Knob and Plate. It was an attempt to examine the different effects of Knob and Plate treatments on potential Hydrogen (pH). The old techniques that can be used to eliminate microbe elements from the botanical drink are: Warming, Pasteurization, Pickling, Screening, Irradiating Electromagnetic Wave, and Ozonizing. However, these techniques may cause changes in sense, color and acidity of botanical drink. Other techniques that can be used to sterilize all bacterium in botanical drink (especially sugarcane juice) include the ultrasonic (48 kHz, 5 Vpp, 5 Vdc) by radiating technic (12 knobs) and by front wave technic (Plate). The results of the present study indicate that fresh sugarcane aft...

This research used quasi-experimental design by giving exercises aided instability devices using a gym ball with a circuit training method in six training posts. Trainer used the gym ball instability devices programmed: 1) bridge on stability ball; 2) single leg on stability ball; 3) hip lift on stability ball; 4) single-leg hip lift on stability ball; 5) stability ball leg rotations stability ball leg rotations; 6) prone scaption (Y) on stability ball. Total population is 90 male students, age ± 19 years, height ± 164,40 cm, and body weight ± 55,33kg. From the test of each group (paired sample), it was found that there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest on the variable group of stable devices with instability devices (p-value> 0,05), while the control group did not have any...

Motivation is divided into two dimensions, namely intrinsic motivation (arising from within) and extrinsic motivation (which is influenced by external or environmental factors). The success of physical education depends on the amount of motivation (motivation) that appears in students. If intrinsic motivation is greater than extrinsic motivation, the success of physical education will be easier to realize. This study aims to determine the motivation orientation of junior high school students in participating in physical education and to determine differences in motivation orientation based on gender in attending physical education in junior high schools. The population in this study were students of SMPN 40 Surabaya, amounting to 677 students. The research sample was 262 students. Sampling was done by random sampling technique with class as the unit of analysis. The data collectio...

The instrument is used to identify the skill of swimming athletes. The kind of research used is quantitative with development model approach. The sample is taken using quota sampling technique involving 60 people (30 males and 30 females) for the first testing, and 120 people (60 males and 60 females) for second testing. Thus, the total samples include 180 people. The data is analyzed using factor and discriminant analysis with the help of the SPSS software. The result in the period-1 shows that there are 16-item instrumental tests for male and female. The result for period-2 is using factor analysis with the amount 0.60 and contained 16 instrumental items for male and 14 instrumental tests for female participants. The result for period-3 using factor and discriminant analysis is obtained 12 instrumental tests for both males and fe...

Ripe bananas contains more antioxidant levels, anti-cancerous properties, easier to digest and useful for anxiety and depression. Considering nutrition compositional changes and the effect of external factors during processing ripe banana as a flour, foam mat drying with egg albumen foam was chosen. This research aim to provide an overview of banana juice foam mats from three different varieties bananas at level 5 up to 7 of maturity and mixed into different proportion using egg albumen as foaming agent and dried at temperatures from 60 °C to 80 °C in a cabinet dryer to a brittle and porous solid which able to grind. The study revealed that there is a significant difference in combination of banana varieties to rendement, the solubility of the powder and moisture content. The combination of various varieties of bananas is considered better to produce quality of ripen banana flour.

Twelve male students comprised the two experimental (creatine and thiamine) groups of the study. The creatine group was supplemented with 0,3 g per weight, with 30 ml of water per dose of creatine four times a day, at regular intervals during the day, for 6 consecutive days. The thiamine group received 10 mg per weight just one time 30 minutes after a meal with 150 ml of water at the last supplementation days. After the supplementation period, subjects completed the incremental treadmill after a dynamic warm-up that consisted of walking at 6 km/h for 3 minutes. An initial treadmill speed started with 8,64 km/h for two minutes at 0% gradient followed by an increase of 1,44 km/h every 30 s until subjects reached their volitional exhaustion. After exercise cessation subjects continued with an active recovery of 10.08 km/h for approximately 5...

The research was conducted in 3 steps including item pool, screening of item pool, and trial of instruments at the small and big size of samples. 315 male elementary school students participated in this study with mean age of 11-13 years old. Data were collected by measuring anthropometry (standing height, sitting height, body mass, and leg length); testing physical fitness (40m sprint for speed, shuttle run for agility, standing broad jump for power, multistage fitness test for endurance). Data were analyzed using discriminant factor. The result of this study found that there were 5 items that selected as an instrument to identify young talented sprinter: sitting height, body mass, leg length, sprint 40m, and multistage fitness test. Model of Discriminant for talent identification in sprinter was D =-24,497 + (0,155 sitting height) + (0,080 body mass) + (0,148 leg length) + (-1,225 Sprint 40m) + (0,563 MFT). The conclusion of this study: instrument tests that have been selected and discriminant model that have been found can be applied to identify young talented as a sprinter.

Method used 9 female players including 2 backs, 3 halves, 4 forwards. Data was collected by measuring heart rate, blood lactate, distance covered and time spent walking/running. Data was analysed using mean, standard deviation, and range. Results found that the mean heart rate and blood lactate concentration during warm up were 96,412,7 bpm and 1,70,8 mmolL-1 ; at the end of the first half of the match was 171,26,3 bpm and 5,23,1 mmolL-1 ; prior to start at the second half was 130,83,8 bpm and 3,73,6 mmolL-1 ; and the end of the second half was 157,412,7 bpm and 5,80,2 mmolL-1. A mean of total distance covered during the complete field hockey game was 4372,5263,9 m. Mean value of time spent walking and running were 41,42 minutes and 28,18 minutes, respectively. Conclusion of this study was female field hockey players have lower heart rate, blood lactate concentration, distance covered and time spent walking/running than other players in the literature reviews. Implication of this study can be used to evaluate the training program in order to improve performance enhancement of the players.

The data were collected from 14 students of TK (Kindergarten) Negeri Pembina Surabaya through both qualitative and quantitative methods. The finding revealed that teachers played a vital role in learning process and could be confirmed by a successful achievement of valid, practical and effective critical thinking according to the determined standards. Conclusion: CTS based – MPAF can successfully work if the teachers precisely realize the learning principles in early childhood education and CTS based – syntax referred to available references.
