As more and more countries are contemplating adoption of single window system, this paper specifically looks at its benefits from user’s perspective. An extensive
literature review was conducted to understand the concept of single window trade facilitation, identify the variables that define the benefits of its adoption and to create a research framework. Empirical data
was collected and analysis was done to validate the hypotheses. This research will enable the stakeholders like manufacturers, shippers, banks, customs, insurance companies, shipping lines,
logistics service providers etc. to understand the benefits of single windows as perceived by user community. This will in turn help the governments to launch the trade portals, which are user friendly,
beneficial to trade community and facilitate efficient supply chains. Trade portals coupled with demand management, data analytics, cloud computing, IoT and data science are key factors in enhancing
operational excellence, cost savings, customer satisfaction and real-time visibility.

Research paper thumbnail of CIRCULAR ECONOMY: BRIDGING THE GAP IN SUSTAINABLE MANUFACTURING

This unprecedented and exponential surge of undesirable factors calls for a different approach to the current linear economic system. The conception of a circular economy has sparked great interest, with many industries and nations hailing it as the most significant innovation of the 21st century. The study focuses on to identify key influencing factors that positively impact the adoption of Circular Economy with relevance to emerging economies of the world. A total of 191 usable responses got collected, with a response rate of roughly 88 %. The data collected from the questionnaire got analyzed using ADANCO 2.0 to build a process model using variance-based structural equation. Variance-based SEM first creates proxies as linear combinations of observed variables and, after that, uses these proxies to estimate the model parameters. It is a popular statistical technique because of its ability to model selected independent variables and consider all possible forms of measurement error to test an entire theory. The data analysis suggests that the SOLVE model is a strong model which, when implemented in the manufacturing sector, can help tap various opportunities. The SOLVE model helps companies achieve the triple bottom line (people, planet, and profit). Companies should consider investing their time, efforts, and money to bridge the circularity gap and thus adopting the circular innovation strategies. It increases profits for firms and boosts innovation in business models, product design supply chains, and other aspects of the economy. Furthermore, it generates employment and helps people achieve sustainable development goals. Policymakers at all government levels play an essential role in the circular economy. There are two broad and complementary policymaking strategies to accelerate the circular economy: fixing the market and regulatory failures and stimulating market activity.

It emphasises the importance of managing the transition to renewable energy in a stable manner, addressing the intermittency challenge. By conceptualising ultralow-cost, long-duration energy storage (LDES) as a transition pathway, the study proposes advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (AA-CAES) as a significant solution to manage imbalances in renewable energy generation. The research sheds light on the alignment between environmental and social benefits in utility-scale renewable energy storage, emphasising supply-side interactions, acceptance, and community engagement. The study contributes fresh perspectives to stakeholder theory and offers conceptual and quantitative analysis to enrich the literature in this field, informing both theoretical understanding and managerial decision-making.

We use extensive studies and employ a survey for the respective exploratory and explanatory research and then follow up with variance-based structural equation modelling to analyze the survey and test the hypotheses. Variables are later classified into six needs of the new employee generation with regard to their level of significance within the sample: corporate identity, employee upbringing, peripheral interactions, extraneous work needs, need for a challenging and innovative work environment, and the need for a game-changing attitude. The findings should appeal to employers that seek to create brand advocates amongst employees at an early stage. This research paper is also relevant for existing employers that are willing to boost the number of brand advocates in their organizations and succeed in the existing talent war. The bottom line is that catering to the needs of the new employee generation undoubtedly leads to a happier workforce that will then share its positive work experience with others.

The objective of this research is to find out the impacts of social, economic, technological and regulatory barriers in the deployment of renewable energy. Data were collected through an online questionnaire responded to by 223 professionals working in the energy sector all over the globe. This research shows that social, technological and regulatory barriers have a strong influence on the deployment of renewable energy, while economic barriers significantly influence it indirectly. By breaking research and development-related barriers, organizations will be able to invest greatly in developing advanced technologies that can optimize usage of renewable energy and make renewable energy appear more lucrative. With less polluting and lower tariff energy solutions being made available to local people, and higher profits for manufacturers, this will create an atmosphere where all stakeholders are satisfied.
